Does rhe reaper work good in heavy iron contaminated field, theres an old residence in my town that is now a park, but theres tons of old square nails and such from ancient times lol as well as tons of bottle caps from the 70s or 80s or maybe even 90s, and im trying to find nonferrous targets amongst the small nails, big iron and bottlecaps
The area is probably hunted out decades ago, but i hold out hope ther has to be something left there
I had poor luck with the legend, but may try it again now that beast mode is out
But i went with the deus one once already, i did goldfield mode with disc iar up high, but ended up digging lots of bottle caps, and a couple nonferrous targets like an old (,made in USA and im in canada) oven dial, it says left, right, off, oven
Im lucky theres almost no modern trash there, such as pulltabs, or even ring pulls, just seems to be bottle caps, thats why i think they might be from the 70s before cans were as common
So do you think the reaper program will be good in such a spot?? Or is there a better program for such a spot
@@digginggopher to be fair, here i norfolk uk one of our fields are heavey with iron and minerals. reaper in my opion is very under esetimated ! people quite ofter moan saying you need to here the ground , thats great if you want to hear that constat chatter. but reaper is the mutts nuts in my opion ! very quiet running until a target is hit, yes on our iron infested frield exceeds my expectations ! very stable and hard hitting on the roman targets ! the reeper became my top goto on the d1.

Do you still you your deus in 2024?? I just got mine on Christmas 2023 I decided to get a deus one because of the elliptical coil, instead of a deus 2
I put in the program, Very nice, I did make one that uses 8,4 khz and the other that uses 26.1khz and i only notched up to 4 so i can hear the iron crackle .will try it out tommorrow but it seems like its going to do well , thanks for the program Gunnar in Minnesota

Magnum wins in our hunting. Reaper gives up to much information that's needed. Information that passed on good targets.

What TX power and silencer do you use? Garry says the XY screen is not reliable when in negative disc, what is your opinion about that?
TX 2 and silencer -1. I haven't had any issues with the XY screen with negative DISC. It's not 100% perfect, but it helps me discriminate tremendously. Thanks for watching.
What setting would you recommend for a beach, I have just saved the reaper. I’m new to detecting.

So I belong to a group called The Ring Finder‘s and there’s a webpage where people can call me up to find rings or other jewelry that is lost a lady‘s husband lost a titanium ring with a small strip of gold on the inside I have the Deus 2 and I’m wondering if you could let me know what program you think would be best for finding this ring for her her husband lost it a month ago in his own yard they know approximately where but it’s been a month of them cutting the grass and such thanks in advance
The Grim Reaper is a harbinger of Death. Man dies metal detecting as heavy limb from tree crushes him. I'll stick with the Goldfield setting.

Think you’re missing the point of the Deus bud. There are countless machines out there that run silent. The whole point of the Deus is getting the feedback from the ground 🤷🏻
Nobody uses notch, you’re guaranteed missing a long stuff mate. Been using a Deus for 9 years, your program is rubbish 😂🤣😂
