How do you get it to recognize your calendar subscriptions? We just got ours last night and it seems like it only allows you to select one calendar.
I'm totally just seeing this. You get the link from your calendar on your phone and integrate it with your alexa app :)
Why did you do this to me 😩😅 now every time I look at my echo show 8, I will think of this 😂 I’m glad though, now I can skip the 10 and go straight to this 😂🙌🏽

A important question, what if youre wifi turns of or like your amazon account gets deleted, are you fcked then or is everything alr?
I mean you definitely need WIFI to use it, and if your Amazon account gets deleted, that's not good either lol But, you can still connect your google calendar, or apple calendar and whatnot.

Does it show all the family members calendars at the same time, for a fast overview?
It shows the calendar of whoever is looking at the echo show, but if say the main person on it has the master calendar, then it will show it.

Will it open pdf cookbooks?
It won't at this time. But, you could save your favorites as PNG files and then put them in your photos and view them that way. Another option would be to view them via the browser. You could host them on your google drive and access the link through the browser. Those are the options right now.

Why does it need to see you when you walk up to it? Looks good but can't see many benefits compared to original radio alexa who's going to watch TV on it when it's on the wall
I used to say the same thing. Then I got the echo show 5. It’s so helpful when you have a family. We all use it to update the grocery lists, the kids check the weather on it. They look up facts and recipes. We have ours sitting on the kitchen sink and I watch tv while cooking or washing dishes. I can drop in and do a video call if I’m out and need to speak to someone at home. We all love it now, even my skeptical husband 😂 I’ve upgraded to the 8 already and sometimes think about the 10. But THIS one… wow. I’d love a bigger screen while cooking. I don’t know if this one can do it. But the 5 & 8 I can connect my Bluetooth and watch/listen without disturbing the whole family.
