Honestly...Anna and Neil would be peak. Nothing against Derek, but he and Neil are constantly talking over each other, and Anna is just as good at the technical analysis as Derek. Combined, they would be funny, accurate, and hopefully not constantly interrupting each other
I dont know, the judging 6-10 is not in the right order imo, Blake for sure wasnt 10th, Jamesa maybe a bit high, guess you can always argue about these rankings, espescially if they are so close together like today...
@@larifari1812 the early riders seemed to have a judging advantage. blake was hucking tricks off everything and dudes who straight aired everything without grabs scored higher which I dont get at all
Some of the judging seems quite odd to me. They don’t seem to reward risk taking much and seem to prefer smaller controlled features over huge hits, that may have a wobble in the landing. This will result in riders doing a million boring little drops instead of going for killer features, just to rack up the point.
Yo buddy! I agree, we all want to see the maddest lines unfold before our eyes! However, Aymar could have literally died if he was to hit that cliff on his left side at the last comp. The judges don't want to see reckless. They want riders to ride within their capability and not try something silly for the camera or for the podium.
Control is a huge factor. If the judges see the bottom of your skis when not in the air you’re out. It’s the only safety measurement they have. It’s the same at all levels of competition.
Agreed I was upset they gave the guy who doubled into a huge backflip a low score just because he sat down a bit. The message that sends is just go easy, straight airs and no tricks to maximize chances of finishing your fun.
C'mon judjes, Jack Nichil deserved a better result, almost closer to Navarro, his jump was very clean and very long. Almost a first result or very close to Navaro and Hampton. However what a ride, but a lot of fallens.
