This is not a fear talk but a talk of love inviting us to allow the dimension of death into our being, face our fears, understand what it is we fear - allow the dimension of death expand us, mature us into true appreciation of life, into more fully being what we can be. This contemplation is the deepest one taking us directly into the mystery. I follow this invitation as a blessing, thank you Hameed.
I was brought here by a woman who I love, an ex roommate. She Favorited this vid. I have not watched it but from the comments I don't need to. I am a soul in a body at this moment. I existed before this body and when this body dies I will be a soul without a body again. I volunteered to have a body because I wanted to experience life. I live it to it's fullest to take advantage of reality in a body. I live without fear, this makes rainbows come to where ever I am at on a regular basis.
Not so much about death itself, but more about the machinations of the mind that keep our awareness of mortality repressed. Maturation includes questioning infantile defense structures erected against truly knowing the full process of our human cycle.
@ariseshine100 , Exactly. That's why it's important to explore. Acceptance of mortality makes fully living possible and makes the spiritual "search" honest, real.
@ariseshine100 I agree 100%. He is internalizing us that we are all going to die in order for us to connect with our true self. If we truly realize we are going to die and think about it everyday, every minute and every second, just imagine how horrible our relationship be with people, our families. This fear speech is just stupid and old school
A most depressing talk without any redeeming quality that I could see. Death in my opinion is a man made concept. Where ever we came from we go back to, which seems to me reasonable and good. We did not have control and do not have control of this aspect of life. So why worry or try to figure it out, it is what it is and we need only to trust Life...which by the way, never ceases...it is always and remains constant. Only our minds invent and fear the end of self.

Why die? Be free of all obsolete modes of existence, beyond diamond soul and beyond death: spent, outmoded and obsolete.

@ariseshine100 To not face death is to not face your own humanity.
