First off, I’m thinking that this really is Il Woo’s new home, as he said it was, twice, and I had read that he was ready to move from his parents home. If so, it’s very nice. Secondly, I can understand why Elephant Song has special meaning in his acting experience. It’s would require him to really challenge his emotions, in order to emote as the traumatized Michael. The play is dark and complicated, I think. I look at Jung Il Woo as a thoughtful, shy but playful, interesting, intelligent and good natured man. I also understand that he wants to please his fans, and be accessible to them, but honestly, some of these questions that were asked of him were just fluff, and made me shake my head. There are so many more layers to him as a person, and I congratulate him on his patience. Just my opinion…..
