@@j.d.bradley7183 That is what I saw in another video that debunked some of the research done on it by Dr. David Sinclair...it's impact was essentially highly questionable. Very interesting 🤔
@@j.d.bradley7183 Yes, you are correct. A lot of supplements are worthless compared to a whole food diet with emphasis on mostly fresh vegetables and some fruits. Meat and eggs are okay occasionally.
Current research suggests that metformin may offer anti-aging benefits, particularly in reducing the risk of age-related diseases. However, more extensive clinical trials, such as the TAME trial, are needed to confirm its efficacy in healthy populations. That is why we didn't include metformin in the video...for now, it’s best viewed as part of a broader longevity strategy rather than a standalone "anti-aging pill.
Niacin can contribute to NAD+ production in the body, but taking 25mg of niacin won’t give the same effects as specialized NAD+ precursors like NMN or NR that we mentioned in the video. These precursors are more directly involved in boosting NAD+ levels, which are critical for cellular energy and repair processes.
I take 150 mg of niacin twice a week, sometimes 3 times. In the morning on empty stomach and then drink a small cup of coffee with cream and with piece of cheese with drop of jam. It activates niacin well 😂 to get vascular effect. Best time to do selfmassage using a small towell 👍
Curcumin was also recommended to me as a natural supplement to manage mood. It is apparently has a modulation function on neurotranamitters. Seratonin booster

Good video ! What do you guys think about metformin ?

@@evolveandbuild I use to take Metformin for Diabetes and it gave me stomach problems ,So my Dr. prescribed another medication for it.
Why would you take metformin unless you are diabetic, you shouldn't put things like that unnecessarily in your body if you can prevent that
@@ginger864 I agree with you 100% I'm a 65 year old man, I don't take any prescription drugs, too many side effects, too dangerous for me!

I take 50mg niacin 3x/day. It works just as good or better than NMN and NR to increase NAD for real cheap.
@@larryc1616agree. Even just 50mg per day works really well.
Which benefits did you experience? We are looking at this from a science-backed perspective. If it works well for you that is great :)
