  • This video shows how to set up a D&D 5e game from scratch using Roll20. It covers creating the game, inviting players, and setting up maps, monsters, and PCs.

Hi Nick, wonderful introductory video to Roll20!
I hope you don't mind me adding this in the comments, but I wanted to add a few details about DunGen and how to use it:
At 4:24 you "Right Click > Save" the generated dungeon. That actually works just fine for dungeons of Mini and Tiny size (as they're generated at 70px per square from the get-go), but for anything larger than that you'll need to click the download button instead, as the map shown on the site when you click generate is only at 30px per square until you download (so it doesn't take too long to generate and show what you'd get).
The maps at the standard 70px per square resolution are optimized to try and stay below the 5mb mark, so even a Huge dungeon should be usable for Roll20 free users without a problem.
At 6:55 you try to see the pixel size for the image to change Roll20's canvas. You can actually use the same units as you used for the map size in that dialog (changing the leftmost values instead). If you still want to use pixels though, when you click the download button on DunGen's site, the pixel size for the downloaded image is also added and shown below the tiles/units (and the file size to make sure it's below 5mb).
    Cheers!
    Nick
