Salam I have purchased your book and followed your videos however a quick question, how do you know which beat to use when eg malfuf with 3 ka and then malfuf with out etc

Salam, thanks for buying the book, I hope you have found it useful. There is no rule about when to use extra Ka strokes, it is up to you. If the rhythm being used is Malfuf then you can add extra Ka strokes whenever you like to add variety.
