Exactly... We got out-rebounded in the playoffs because we needed a big to crash the boards while Embiid was still on the floor. I love Nichalis Claxton as a 5th starter. He would be perfect.
If Embiid is in the lineup, it’s not a small-ball lineup. Tobias is 6’8… PG is 6’8”. Oubre is 6’7” with a much bigger wingspan. PJ Tucker is 6’5” and was our PF. We also will have KJ Martin. We have Embiid with Drummond off the bench. The PF will be played by committee plus a vet min guy like Morris, RoCo, or Hayward. We are fine… especially if we can swing DFS, Nance, or someone during the deadline.
We’ve had Tobias has pf for years and we complained abt his effort, it’s just hard going against 6”9 pf that are athletic. DFS would be perfect. I’m just tryna be realistic. We’ve been preaching EMBIID needs help with boards and having a actual pf guarding a Kristaps ect instead of EMBIID having to leave the paint
We need a 4 and also need a real point guard... idk how much tyrese will improve playmaking and how much McCain is able to offer in that regard either.
I enjoyed Paul Reed in the beginning as much as everybody else. But I quickly soured on him because he absolutely has one of the lowest basketball IQs I’ve ever seen on an NBA court. He just looked so lost and was at a size disadvantage in almost every situation, showing most against the Knicks. Not sure why anybody would be all that sad to see him be waived. 7.7mil is like 2 or 3 times what his market value probably is. I do agree we we absolutely need a real PF now though. Sad to see we couldn’t get a trade together for DFS.
You're talking like Caleb Martin is an "unsure of player". You must not know. That Dorian Finney-Smith crap is silly. He is not an impact player like Caleb Martin. Adem Bona is a power forward/ center. What are you missing?
They would only ask Bona to play defense, block shots, block out, set picks and help on the glass. His athleticism can't be coached. Can easily earn 10-15 minutes of playing time.
What power forwards will Caleb Martin be sticking Jason Tatum, Jaime jaquez, Julius Randle, Pascal Siakum, Giannis?? We will have a team of wings who can switch where Embiid won’t have to cheat out and focus more on the boards. This isn’t the 90’s anymore. The bigger forwards PG can defend if needed.
I understand, however look at every team that has a superstar big man, they have interior help, Giannis had brook lopez for years and Bobby Portis. Nicola jok has Aaron Gordon. EMBIID can’t be the only good interior defender. It’s too draining for one player and we’ve seen EMBIID get hurt or just tired from all that responsibility.
@@OntheGo_ I gotcha I just think now having better perimeter guys makes up for missing that size. But technically we will be position list and bigger forwards PG will probably guard. Look at the reigning champs Tatum is the PF a bunch of perimeter guys and Porzingy/Horford.
We still need to sure up the PF position I like jarace Walker from Indiana because they got to many players at that position

Ooh 👀I would too but may be hard to get him
Just need a 6’10 , 6’11 PF.
That's all I'm asking & waiting for TBH
John Collins
DFS please 🙏
most likely still got draft capitol but PG could play PF he literally did last season some games on the clippers
Miles Bridges
@@Prophet.1he signed with hornets

I like Caleb, however unless he pulls a Charles Barkley, we may need a PF
😂fr

I think McCain will surprise you guys in philly
💯👀
Damn Caleb you will be missed 🥲
Power Forwards or out dated the NBA have changed 🤔 think about it Paul George was a power forward for LA Tatum played the same thing 🤔
I’m talking abt a pf off the bench or something giving over 10 mins
FINALLY simebody calling 76rs out for their LACK of development and disdain fir young players !!!
If you trying to beat Boston you better have wings on the courts just like NY
I think Harrison Barnes would be good if that’s possible
Oooh 👀

Finney is 6’7 not really gon help
He has a long wingspan tho, great help defender🤷🏾♂️
Is Hart or OG Power Forward
I think it’s gonna be jul Randle
If he turned down 4/64 for 4/32 he really needs to be riding to Philly on a short bus
AND working in Florida vs Pennsylvania - Florida has no state income tax, makes a big difference
@@michaelgillen6426 smh. Not even Forrest Gump... just not a smart man

Relax, bona is still a rookie, im big on him however expecting a 2nd round rookie to have big minutes in the playoffs is laughable.

I hope 🤞, I’m watching the summer league game tmr so we’ll see where he’s at
Philly fans are never satisfied with anything
🧐 why should we be satisfied 🤷🏾♂️😂 we just lost in the first round . Pointing out a weakness doesn’t mean I’m hating.

Randle > Caleb. Discuss.
