@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes I did get Blizzard Berry, Christmas Cottage and Cranberry and Tinsel... I'm really curious about the Blue Christmas one but don't want to spend the money on it and end up not liking it.. I haven't got anything from the Hygge Collection yet, was waiting to see some reviews on how they preformed/smelled.. The only 2 i think i will get is Cozy Kitchen and Woolly Slippers.
I think they should make a scent with sweet pipe tobacco not for everyday scent my great grandfather smoked a pipe and he smoked a sweet pipe tobacco which is way different from cigarette tobacco which stinks. I really liked that smell.
I love that your reviews are so thorough! I love blizzard berry for an all year warm and just ordered a pack of that and cranberry and tinsel. Already went through a brick of blue Christmas and blizzard berry. As for the hygge collection I wasn’t in love with any of them..not bad but not wonderful.
I love your story about your dad . My neighbor rolls her cigarettes and i watch with amazement. - tobacco does have a sweet smell to it . Also, i have family from Cape Breton💕💕
It’s funny the notes everyone’s noses picks up! It always surprises me - which is why I always tell people to comment what their own experience with the scents were. I haven’t been to Cape Breton in forever!
I really like Christmas cottage and blizzard berry. I am trying cranberry and tinsel tonight. I decided to set up scentsy club and plan to put blizzard berry in it. I ordered cozy kitchen after asking you about it and really like it. This will go in my scentsy club as well!
I ordered a hYgge custom 5 pack and put 4 Cozy Kitchen + 1 Woolly slippers in it! Cozy a kitchen is pretty yummy and does well in my big area. Cranberry & Tinsel is pretty strong! Dies off to a lighter tree scent after a while. Glad I could help!
Yes cranberrry and tinsel is a good performer! I have it in my living room warmer. I feel like I want to put cranberry spice in my kitchen warmer to compliment it. You will be set on cozy kitchen for a while!
Thanks for your timely reviews. I have Christmas Cottage and Cranberry and Tinsel coming. After your reviews I feel confident of my choices. I would say the Hygge collection other than the Cozy Kitchen and Wooly Slipppers doesn't give me a Hygge/cozy feeling. But scent is subjective so maybe it will trigger it in some people. I'll definitely give Cozy Kitchen a whirl. Had to laugh at the cigarette rolling story. My father was a pipe smoker so I know what you mean about tobacco having a sweet smell.
You picked two solid bricks IMO. After warming Toasty Cabin I’m really not digging it very much. The Hygge Collection is a bit of a mixed results kind of Collection for me.
Great video! Appreciate your honesty and detail about the scent notes and performance. Other than Christmas Cottage, been on the fence about the bricks but think I'll pick up Cranberry Garland & Ginger and Spruce.
I bought the ginger and spruce. I agree it's so hard to describe. It's more in the clean side of things. Somewhat reminds me of a yankee candle I had from many years ago...I think it was called midnight summer or something. It's somewhat masculine however we all enjoyed it in out house. It really doesnt scream holiday though, more seasonal winter early spring scent.
That was the exact same thing I thought about Blizzard Berry, I'll use it year round and I actually really liked it, it is my favorite of the five. I'm also in agreement with Blue Christmas and Christmas Cottage (my 2nd and 3rd favorites in the Holiday Brick Collection). I personally didn't care for the Ginger & Spruce but my 26 year old son did, go figure lol! He took that Brick from me and we'll be placing another order after I try the final Brick, Cranberry & Tinsel (so we'll be doing the 2/$40.00). My favorite in the Hygge Collection, on cold sniff, are Wolly Slippers, Cozy Kitchen and Quiet Clementine, in that order. Can't wait to try those as well. Did you see the Classic Curve Warmer Gift Bundles (I'm assuming you have them in Canada as well)? I ended up getting all three colors because I love that style Warmer and they will probably sell out fast. Thank you so much for the review on those Bars and Bricks!😊
Thank you for this great video. I also love Cozy Kitchen and Woolly Slippers the most. My least favorite was Toasty Cabin. About the bricks I now wish I would have bought the Ginger one. I might get that one.
Indeed very hard. Silver Bells I knew so I got that one and the Cranberry Tinsel. But after your video I’m thinking about the Ginger one I thought is would be totally different then what you discribe it sounds very nice. Thank you Patricia😊👋🏻
My sample cup of ginger and spruce performed amazing like you said. I couldn't detect any ginger or spruce... it seemed perfume-y with the tail-end of it smelling of fresh rose to me. I must have a weird sniffer. I am debating getting some of the bricks but I am pretty pumped for BBMB so I plan to save my cash for that.
Ginger & Spruce should be remanded to “Mystery Blend” since everyone and their dog gets different things from it! You can’t go wrong splurging on the BBMBs, I agree!
Just gotta say I loved your review on hygge. You were spot on I think. I actually didn’t mind calming woods which is I didn’t think I would. I laughed at your cigarette rolling ... I use to do the same!! I had to go smell the clementine bar... I think it’s the tobacco... unless he smoked cigars
Thanks Amy! I actually thought I’d like Calming Woods but on warm that scent was my least favourite. I guess you just never know until you warm something.
Thanks for this great review! I was so glad to hear you picked up a slight perfume note in Blizzard Berry. On cold and warm I got that perfume note as well, but thought it was probably just me. In fact, I was hesitant to mention it in the Scentsy haul I posted a couple of days ago. I originally thought this would be my favorite, but find I’m not crazy about it. You described Blue Christmas perfectly for me on cold. I haven’t warmed it yet, but will soon.
I much preferred all the bricks as compared to the Hygge Collection. I don’t think you could go “wrong” with any of the bricks. But I LOVE Blue Christmas the most.
Great video! One thing that I really noticed about Ginger and Spruce is that it has a definite soapy quality, especially after it’s been warming for a bit. I liked it and I agree that it lasted forever! The Hygge collection was pretty ‘meh’ for me as well. Fairly masculine and complex scents which isn’t really my style.
I feel like I might not have described Ginger & Spruce well but I wanted to get across the point that, for me, the scent is quite different than the scent notes. I would encourage people to watch lots of different review videos to get many peoples’ opinions on that one, as it IS hard to describe. I can get what you are saying with getting a soapy vibe. I warmed that one second so it’s a bit hard to remember (and I didn’t make any notes as I went 😮)
I really wish I could buy partial bricks. With as much vendor and Scentsy wax I already have, I don’t like the concept of buying something so big (especially if I don’t know that I’ll love it). So many of those bricks sound good though! I need to start melting my Hygge collection!
Patricia G •Nose to Toes• I don’t know if she does samples.... but I would still feel bad asking, especially because I don’t plan on ordering one. I’d love to have some local Scentsy loving friend and just buy two or three cubes of a brick though!!
Allison Green try not to feel bad to ask for samples. But another cheater way to try the scent is add it in your Scentsy Club and you will get it in the smaller, bar form. Remove from your subscription for future orders if you don’t like it.
Just an important rule - the brick scent must be added to Scentsy Club while the brick promo is ongoing and the scent is still available. (In other words if the brick scent sells out OR they pull the collection from the website you won’t be able to add those scents in)
Weed is legal in Canada and I walked by a house today that wreaked of it! Ugh...I personally I don’t think Ginger and Spruce smelled like that. Man it was bad
I personally love and appreciate these types of video's, Thank you for all you time and effort Patricia!! ❤️
Thanks Mary. I’m glad it was helpful in some way. Did you grab any bricks or the Hygge Collection?

Patricia, will you do a warm review on the catching zzzzs collection? I'm curious to hear your thoughts and which were good or poor performers for you
Yes I will. I may put it with my empties but perhaps I will do a short video mid week if I can
I think they should make a scent with sweet pipe tobacco not for everyday scent my great grandfather smoked a pipe and he smoked a sweet pipe tobacco which is way different from cigarette tobacco which stinks. I really liked that smell.
Even a tobacco vanilla which was all the rage 1-2 years ago
😊😊😊😊

Melissa , how did you get through so much of the new bricks? Were you strictly melting those?
Thanks too bTW!
Patricia G •Nose to Toes• I have 5 warmers and would put one scent in all 5 since my house is open concept.
I love your story about your dad . My neighbor rolls her cigarettes and i watch with amazement. - tobacco does have a sweet smell to it . Also, i have family from Cape Breton💕💕
Alsssso, to me I got a menthol smell from Wolley Slippers ! Similar to Vanilla Mint .
It’s funny the notes everyone’s noses picks up! It always surprises me - which is why I always tell people to comment what their own experience with the scents were.
I haven’t been to Cape Breton in forever!
It took me all day, but, i finally figured out what Calming Woods smells like ...HENDRIX!!! When warming , it smells identical!
I have never tried Hendrix. (Not that excited now to try it but...)
Thanks though 🤣

Don’t forget to Bundle the bricks you buy! Good luck with whatever ones you end up picking Sabrina
Artic Berry 🌟 it was driving me nuts on what BBW scent Blizzard Berry smells like. Thank you
Lol, so you agree? It’s even very close in name as well!

Yes, definitely not Christmas specific. Thanks as always Nicole. Love hearing your opinions

It’s so hard with the bricksto choose.
Ginger & Spruce is very different. Very long lasting for sure!

I smell rose as well! Like a clean and gental rose. I thought I was the only one!

Oh how I love wooly slippers!!! But Blue Christmas, I wanted to love it but it smells like flat coke to me. I don’t know why.
Flat coke...that’s funny! My husband loves flat pop. Here’s hoping you don’t have a bunch of Blue Christmas to finish then...
Quiet Clementine reminded me of a brand new barbie doll. It has a bit of a plastic scent to me.
Lol, that’s better than my story!
Am I the only on that thought Ginger & Spruce smelled like weed? :/
Weed is legal in Canada and I walked by a house today that wreaked of it! Ugh...I personally I don’t think Ginger and Spruce smelled like that. Man it was bad
