I come from a Italian family like that. My mother and father were extremely miserable 24-7. I realize when I got older that it wasn't normal to be like that.
My girlfriend and I spent the last week vacationing in NYC, out of a hotel on Allen Street in Lower Manhattan. We were around the corner from the site of the former Toyland Social Club on Hester Street, and a short walk from both Knickerbocker Village (Monroe and Madison Street) and Little Italy. Even today, it’s not hard to imagine gangsters like Lefty, Tony Mira, Joey Massino and Nicky Glasses occupying street corners in that neighborhood - it has kept much of its authenticity (despite being in the middle of Chinatown). Thanks for a great video on an infamous mobster, Jeff. Awesome content as usual. Best from the Netherlands
Tony Mirra reminds me of what I’ve read about Johnny Ringo the old west gun fighter. He had a void in his soul, he could never steal or kill enough to fill it, it was revenge, and it was revenge for being born. He finally committed suicide. Mirra was a psychopath too.

Damn Jeff I almost missed this one...and what a good one indeed and to hear you tell it makes it even better... mobster Anthony "Tony" Mirra and what a story it is... thank you so much for bringing it 👍 😎...✨🎇
Jeff you're really doing some good content and touching upon some gangsters that noone else has really gone in depth about. Thanks for the info brother.

@The Sitdown : A Crime History Podcast so squirting then Jeff 😉 🤣🤣🤣 in my experience to get the bed soaking, u must really turn them on . Even is she is capable of gushing she won't 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mirra was a real creep. Joe Pistone described this animal as a guy they all hated. A real mafia monster, or should I say monstrosity! Good riddance and good video. Jeff really knows his mob! I like this because he shows real arvihal footage and no stupid re-enactments with bad actors. Nice job, Jeff. I am going to watch all your vids. I'm a girl who loves her mob stuff.
Jeff, i once heard a wire tap were Lefty guns said that he see's Mirra all the time in the elevator. I understand that they came from the same housing complex, but did they live in the same buliding? Missed the first few minutes of the video so forgive me if you answered that alreay.
If he flipped did the government ask him to create a beef for Brasco as a ploy to make Donny look more valuable??? If so it’s brilliant if not it doesn’t make sense that they would want or allow Mira to fight for Donny to him bc they already own him..
You gonna try get Richard Cantarella on jeff? Would be worth listening getting interviewed by someone with your knowledge, only seen him once that was on that crank Gunners show and it was terrible.
R.I.P Tony. A true gentleman who lived life to the fullest. Loyal friend and loving son. No doubt you have one of the best suites in heaven. Sleep well.
Just wanted to know how this guy would know anything about mob people, he's just talking about what he's read from books and has got know first hand experience
Two guys for sure you don't want to get together were Tony Mira and Tommy DeSimone. Granted, they were in different circles/families, but imagine those two at their most ornary hanging out together getting drunk at a bar.
Mirra doted on his dear old mother by all accounts always spent time with her, popped in to see her everyday and drive her to the shops ect when he werent in prison of course.
Best video I’ve seen on this guy . He was a real creep and got what he deserved . Thank you for doing this 😊
appreciate that!
He and Tony Bananas Coponigro are one of my most interesting stories to follow. Thnx Jeff.
thanks for watching
Maybe we need a story on Tony bananas?!😉

Like Livia Soprano?
Probably from life
@@Milne85 David Chase based Livia soprano on his own mother. He made the comment on Talking Sopranos with Michael Imperioli and Steven Shirippa

Very well researched Jeff.

He gave a great twist to this guys story, good video!!!!!!!

@@thesitdownwithjeffnadu appreciate the reply, all the best with your new beginnings recently Jeff.
Great video as always, but you forgot to mention the stabbing incident with Mirra. In his younger days he was stabbed in a Brooklyn restaurant.
If this country's mainstream media did the research and spit out facts half as good as you do, this country would be massively better off
That’s very nice of you. I appreciate it

This is so good, my bro! Habitual offenders getting short sentences is always sketch af 😂
Yes it is
Great show as always Jeff about a not very great guy. Looking forward to Rizzoto tomorrow.
How the hell did Mira only get eight years as a repeat offender? Jeff I think your suspicions are well founded.

Bro please do Joey Doves for me my birthday coming up on the 28th would be really cool.
