The Washington State moved Texas southern rock/ red dirt band pioneering "Sad Bastard Songs" as frontman Big John Cannon calls it. I listen to this song on repeat. It depicts a part of the human condition that many of us deal with; it's uplifting because it tackles the "hard" without complete stagnancy. I suppose it's the rawness of this song and many of this bands songs that draw me in. Thank you Lowdown Drifters!!
