I swear to god I had a feeling about this because sometime when I’m holding and angle and they full sprint it, if I start missing my bullets I’ll just go back to cover while still holding mouse1 and more often than I remember I get the kill. Never bothered to investigate further thinking it was the subtick being trash but holy shit it is so much worse than I thought
i been abusing this for months now i was wondering why nobody else talks about it, people will cry in coms about me cheating just cuz im swinging tuns and headshotting like 3 of them before i finish crossing lmaooo
its literally same as csgo, u could do that too. Its reason why counterstrafe works, if u tap it fast u have low velocity so u lose it fast, thats why then m4a4 shoots in the moment of moving it was shooting random spread but then u managed to hit timing (velocity reached 0 or number as low that for engine u could just use crtl for same effect) then it was spraying like u would stay in place. This isnt even an issue its horrible way of peeking because u have low velocity so u are easy target, with same logic u can crouch (i think ur "peek" is even slower than proper crouch peek) - u also have low velocity and ur crosshair moves smoothly. This game is all about counterstrafe, velocity, distance to wall u peek and angle u peek with proper crosshair placement, this wouldnt work even on level 7 faceit.
This would not be how you peek. You would swing full speed, start shooting at someone, and start moving as you are spraying by tapping your keys. In GO if you tried this, first of all the timing is a noticeable amount harder (whether that is acceleration being different, the actual speed that makes you inaccurate, etc.) so more bullets would be inaccurate. Second I think that in CS2 it is much harder to punish things like this because of a mix of things like the hit reg being different, the player models moving differently, and a ton of other little things that add up. Lastly this does work at a higher level, I am 2600 ELO on faceit right now and if in my pugs if I fully swing into a fight, and do this method AFTER peeking mid duel, I can full spray while making distance, which should not be possible to the extent that it is currently.
Yes in GO this was also possible. I think that the reason that in CS2 it seems more powerful is a mix of a lot of things that are different in CS2. Also trying it in GO, the timing seems a noticeable amount tighter, although yes it is still possible. I do believe that in GO though, a lot of the kills I got in this video in CS2 would not have happened, or they would have been a lot more lucky, The main issue I have with the game right now is things like this do not seem easily punishable like they were in GO.
its not just movement atm player models, upload-download ms affecting %50 of the gameplay and there is more more stuff thats making me just wanna quit this game
Honestly a lot of the duels feel really 50/50. I feel like when I play games its somehow not me getting my kills, almost like it was up in the air who could have won. An example of this that pisses me off is it doesn't even feel like an advantage to be behind/to the side of someone. I feel like you still have to hit an instant headshot if you make a positioning play on someone and they aren't looking. In GO you could body shot people and still get the kill, but now its like you shoot 1 or 2 bullets and they are instantly flicking to you and you die by the 3rd one even getting shot. Genuinely feel like I would rather have a head to head against someone than be behind them some games lmao
Yeah, I should have. I just kind wanted to showcase it. I will add to the description what I was doing as well. Basically as you spray if you just tap A or D on a timing, you will move a certain speed and you can spray while doing that. So essentially spray your gun, and tap A. When you tap it you hold it for about a quarter of a second, release, then do it again. It is a feel thing so if you go into a server and experiment with it you will probably be able to do it pretty consistently. You can also walk to do it which allows you to hold the keys for a lot longer, just make sure not to reach full speed while walking because then you will actually have movement inaccuracy.

I hope your misinformation won't spread any more than those couple thousand views. It was possible to do in csgo exactly the same way. You can maybe do it easier because of more accurate inputs cause of subtick, but that's it. And good players know it (that movement is more important in cs2 and lets you do more things). You should try opening CSGO and doing this, then try it in CS2 yourself. It makes you feel like an idiot I'm GO and makes you feel pretty unhittable in CS2. This video is also just a rant so I would rather it not get past a couple k views so that I don't have to argue with people who are gaslit to think this game isn't a disaster.

For real, its insane. I had a PC that got about 400 frames CSGO and now CS2 it gets 120 at best. I literally had to buy a new PC to play CS2.
