Towa returned that favor for Sui-chan after the tournament was over too, the pressure truly was immense. True to their name though, all 3 of them gave it their all from start to finish and I suspect the bonds they formed together along the way will carry on far into the future, and if you ask me that's the real prize from this tournament.
Them comforting Towa is actually funny but really touching in the same way. Suisei : We dont have to be the 1st, 2nd is also good Aqua : yeah! I'm just going to Kill them all Towa : Aqua, please dont go far forward alone Aqua : yes, Im sorry
Coming back to this clip after a year, it's still so good! But something I didn't realize before, Suisei really is *massively* competitive, she gets energy from going, "Yeah, we're gunna win!!", but Towa has way more of a "I have to prove myself" kind of competitiveness, making talk like "let's grab 1st place!" SUPER rough on her. So Suisei and Towa have almost completely opposite reactions to competitive pressure, making it tough for them to understand each other on a team. But then they both -- in their own ways -- are going out of their way to try to understand each other. SO, it's extra funny that one of the things that immediately makes Towa laugh is Suisei saying to critics, "Shut up, you scum!" That kind of humor is ABSOLUTELY something that Towa and Suisei have in common. 😆
The pressure Startend was under was INSANE Just based on views, Towa and Suisei had the most viewers on them during the official tournament by a good amount over the others. I think the most i saw was 4k for Matsuri, and then you add Aqua just getting 80K+ VIEWERS and you could feel the pressure on them. That isn't even considering the tournaments stream which had a ton of views itself Now add on that towa is the leader of the squad, the shotcaller and it just adds even more pressure. Then Aqua herself being there is going to bring EVEN more pressure Then of course there is the tournament itself which you know, is one of the biggest vtuber tournaments out there which brings in even more.............you see where i'm going Of course Suisei and Aqua had pressure in their own right but i just felt like the pressure was highest on towa. It may not have ended the way they wanted but Startend gave us a brilliant month of content with a bunch of tears, laughs and joy. I hope that even if there are no more tournaments, we see more collabs with these three
@@KoTheKid Yea i could see that And i saw an average of 20k on Suisei and Towa's. That alone was like double the numbers everyone else had. I was impressed they powered through it and gave us a wonderful month of content. Shame about the result but they got beef PC's
Some people might see Towa calling herself the worst as funny but I've also gone down that dark spiral of thought before as well. You feel worthless and terrible and don't want to do anything. Everything you do is terrible and nothing makes you feel better, even if you are performing well and receiving comfort. I'm glad that Aqua-tan and Sui-chan were able to comfort Towa in her time of need. Sometimes even the leader needs someone to lead them into the light. I hope Towa seeks mental care more often when she needs it, Sui-chan and Aqua-tan seem to be able to provide her with it. Startend truly is the best team!
Aqua: "Those tears, let's save them for tomorrow (on the day of the tournament)!"
And then I found out Suisei cried during the interview
Well more like before the interview, but close enough
They have truely worked hard, especially TMT, Startend existing is a blessing indeed.
coming back to this clip, thank you aqua for do everything you can for towa untill this day I will treasure this moment forever

Towa actually does alot for Hololive behind the scenes.

0:52 I like the way Suisei changed her word.

I have a screenshot when there's a 100k live viewer on Aqua's channel. Crazy numbers but the burden and pressure they carried could break anyone tbh

The fact that she cried but still managed to play nicely is incredibly awesome

Nice to see genuine comfort and compassion.
Sui-chan telling every anti to kys is so sweet
Startend might ended but forever marked in our hearts ❤
Towa is too angelic for words.
I swear competitive Apex is just in another level
1:43 Sui-cah : "Towa's ulti (gibraltar ulti) is also very warm"
i mean it's airstrike and well... forget it
This is obscene amounts of teetee. I love it.
the tournament (last day) will be tomorrow so give your all
thank you
