it isn't better to get hit than waste your item bc ur a rescuer, u need to have full health to do a good rescue and when ur a kiter, don't be afraid to use items. if it helps your kite then it'll do
As it says in the video, it's a situational tip. It depends on the scenario. Especially cases like GK's shovel where it can get cancelled and wasted if he gets hit during the animation and if the hunter lets say it's bq's mirror or wu's black form when umbrella directly on you
