I don't think I ever fully appreciated just how much effort Kush put into making these until he mentioned putting it through the vacuum pack machine. A diabolical genius! I've always respected Kush, but now I also fear him a little.
I love how in these, when Jamie gets a bad one, Barry and Mike cannot hold it together!! That's always my clue to see if Jamie's eyes are going "help me!"
Barry completely fumbling round 1 and then with the best poker face Ive ever seen for round 2 is so well played, you would think it was intentional from the beginning.
In fairness, their was going to be mecanical issues for the first round. It's difficulte to do a poker face when the thing you have eaten no longer fits.

Jamie was teary-eyed the entire video, which did not help with the last round. I am thrilled that Barry did not get the hot sauce one cuz after the wasabi, ginger and Berocca I didn't think he'd be able to do more spice, plus he wouldn't have been able to have the milk to soothe the spice cuz the milk and Berocca would just NOT settle well in the stomach.

I was waiting to see if Kush can outdo Daddy's Milk, but I think that Berocca, popping candy thing already did that. "JUST SWALLOW" will leave rent free in my head for a bit 😂😂 Poor Barry!

As someone who loves game design, I think a great way you can improve on the scoring of this format is to award 2 points to the person who gets the bad item if they are able to get no votes for them. 1 point no matter what (unless they are seriously oblivious of course), but this ups the stakes for keeping that face even more!
Points could be dealt similar to how it is done in the game dixit. You do not get any point when everyone guesses you, but you get more points when no one guesses you... and one point when some guess you, some do not.

I’m sad to say I didn’t get ANY right!🤷♀️😅 Also- I’m curious as to what the rum cake is because my mum makes an amazing rum cake (Margret Fulton recipe) that’s basically a butter cake/yellow cake, soaked in a rum orange juice and sugar syrup, then covered in plain whipped creamed and toasted almonds- it’s sooooooo good!🥰🥰🥰
Perhaps just a case of the person with tainted food gets a point for everybody who gets it wrong that round (they still write down an answer though, they just don't get points for it if they have the different one.)
This is definitely a better format (1 bad 4 good). I think Kush knowing actually adds an element of double bluff. Love this show overall though. long may it continue!

You guys should do a episode where there’s 2, allowing one to hide while another freaks out or possibly let someone catch up by having 2 points available
If going random, a chance for 0 would also be fun for the bluffing / guessing portion (good luck finding the non-existent poker face). Could even make it a chance for any number between zero and five for maximum chaos.
@@eviljesus84 Correctly guess that nobody got it and get a point. However, I was thinking of it for entertainment value, I don't really care about points. I just liked the idea of them trying to figure out who's bluffing when nobody is.
Jamie's last round was impressive, he had even me fooled! Especially since I was looking for the delayed reaction he usually gets. Feeling bit bad for Barry though, he's going to have an interesting night, and probably the next morning too.
The original Pokerface videos were my gateway into the wonderful community of sortedfood. Now i do enjoy the 2.0 series its just not the same vibes or entertainment as the original videos. Salty, sour, spicy, fermented. Classics. Hope that format returns

That was hilarious. Poor Barry, getting most of them. But he did really well (the second and third time)! In another Pokerface, Barry once said that he can always tell with Jamie, because he gets an extremely sincere look in his eyes. I've been able to pick out when it was Jamie ever since. +g+

If everyone guesses the person correct because their poker face failed, could they be deducted a point? That way there will never be rounds with all getting a point and adds to the need to keep the poker face...

This is a great suggestion. Keeps it from being lopsided if someone gets multiple like Barry did in this one.

Random 1 or 2 and have the team plate up before the taste, decides if its one or two.

And have it random as to whether it would be the nice or bad that they would have to identify.
