I had a very close friend years ago who was an Aquarius. He passed from cancer unfortunately, but he was a combo of one of the most generous folks I ever met, and one of the most aloof. My late husband was an Aquarius and with everyone but his family and very few friends was an ice cold man. Most thought he was very scary. Which if you didn't know him, he did look very intimidating. And eventually that turned to us a few months before his death. As far as I know he was always that way. Cold, detached and guarded with everyone with no real reason as to why. But again, not with those he loved. With those close he was happy, hilarious and a nice guy. But never understood why toward so many he was cold. This explains things rn for me. I think I’m at a point rn where I’m struggling not to be cold because I don’t want people to be mean to me or face controvercy. I just love being mean to people.
Its because we tried 100%, all out, real love, like he says in the beginning. Most people dont have the bravery to try it. They say they do but when they try they give up early. Aquariuses are hard headed and when one decides to try real love, hes going to succeed or die trying. So we try, and learn that others are not so brave, that no ones perfect, that some have serious blockages towards love, honesty, and commitment. So that experiment gives us a reference and we see humanity different and leave our emotions on neutral. Like he says, we dont give up the idea of connecting deeply, we are just picky and slow going with the trust and love. What is more valuable than that to give to another? Nothing. Dont feel bad guarding it or being picky, and if you truly love an aquarius, show him. Talk to him. If you really want to know him, dont expect him to be fake, expect to hear real stuff. Aquarius take life seriously, but are wise enough to force themself to snap out of thinking and enjoy this short life we all have.

Omgggg I'm experiencing this with Aquarius man. I freaking hate it because we get along so well. I had an Oops moment trying to bring something to his attention and he completely shut down on me and I don't know what to do to open him back up to trusting me. He is COLD 🥶 as a Winter Night. I’ve learned that after 2 years of madly being in love with my Aquarius lover that he is wholly and completely untrustworthy 😢 He ghosted me with a “out of state job three states away” and said it was for 3 months and 4 months later he still isn’t back. I’ve come to the conclusion that he wanted to dump me and didn’t have the guts to tell me straight up so he fabricated a reason to leave and not come back. Honestly it would have been much easier to be honest and deal with the consequences but “dealing” with the truth isn’t an Aquarius’ strong point. Better to learn 2 years into a relationship who they really are than to spend 40 years together (I was married to this man) then find out they were having an affair for 20 years with the same women (she was a client if his). I guess a “client or boss” is a convenient way to be sexually involved and have a total cover up that makes sense 🤔 Note to self, never date or live with a man that has to “work over night in his office” 😂 it’s the best excuse for sleeping with another person!

I had a very close friend years ago who was an Aquarius. He passed from cancer unfortunately, but he was a combo of one of the most generous folks I ever met, and one of the most aloof. His coldness could drive me nuts sometimes since it made it hard for me to read him, but I miss him terribly, because he was one of the best human beings I've ever known as well. My brother is one as well. Again, one of the best men in my life, but he can turn on the ice cube maker in a second, lol. My Taurus heart still has a tendency to take it personally sometimes, so I've had to learn to detach better emotionally over the years so that it doesn't hurt my feelings. I have found that I'm a terrible match for that sign romantically, but I have found them to be great friends. My late husband was an Aquarius and with everyone but his family and very few friends was an ice cold man. Most thought he was very scary. Which if you didn't know him, he did look very intimidating. And eventually that turned to us a few months before his death. As far as I know he was always that way. Cold, detached and guarded with everyone with no real reason as to why. But again, not with those he loved. With those close he was happy, hilarious and a nice guy. But never understood why toward so many he was cold. Its because we tried 100%, all out, real love, like he says in the beginning. Most people dont have the bravery to try it. They say they do but when they try they give up early. Aquariuses are hard headed and when one decides to try real love, hes going to succeed or die trying. So we try, and learn that others are not so brave, that no ones perfect, that some have serious blockages towards love, honesty, and commitment. So that experiment gives us a reference and we see humanity different and leave our emotions on neutral. Like he says, we dont give up the idea of connecting deeply, we are just picky and slow going with the trust and love. What is more valuable than that to give to another? Nothing. Dont feel bad guarding it or being picky, and if you truly love an aquarius, show him. Talk to him. If you really want to know him, dont expect him to be fake, expect to hear real stuff. Aquarius take life seriously, but are wise enough to force themself to snap out of thinking and enjoy this short life we all have.

You just explained my ex, cold, distant, hard and controlling. I could never work out why the universe put us together as I am the total opposite. I found I was becoming like my ex until we separated. Now I have been with a sweet awesome guy for over 10 years I find I am returning back to my old self. The problem with Aquarius is they think they dont have emotions but they are almost UNHINGED when it comes to it. They think theyr logic driven but their decisions are always based on protecting themselves and their egos and their emotions….its absurd how they cant see this. The emotional outbursts are raw because they r poor at processing their emotions. With help without help sooner or later they will freeze u out if its not their exact way. I was the only one whom he could stand with but only survives one way communication. Cant do it anymore ❤
I’ve learned that after 2 years of madly being in love with my Aquarius lover that he is wholly and completely untrustworthy 😢 He ghosted me with a “out of state job three states away” and said it was for 3 months and 4 months later he still isn’t back. I’ve come to the conclusion that he wanted to dump me and didn’t have the guts to tell me straight up so he fabricated a reason to leave and not come back. Honestly it would have been much easier to be honest and deal with the consequences but “dealing” with the truth isn’t an Aquarius’ strong point. I still cry every day and trying to wrap my heart and brain around how it all dissolved is baffling. I have learned NEVER TRUST AN AQUARIUS LOVER 😢 this isn’t my first rodeo! My college liver did the exact same thing. We were madly in love throughout college then he took a job three states away. Never saw him again. Note to self 🤔 do not date amb Aquarius man again 😢

I am trying to to share what I’ve learned in my 63 years. I cut off the person as soon as I learned about his other relationship as soon as I learned about his #1 life partner he still is living with despite he-was living with me for 2 years before they “moved out of state” and #2 even though I was devastated for 6 months after the trauma now I am fine! Better to learn 2 years into a relationship who they really are than to spend 40 years together (I was married to this man) then find out they were having an affair for 20 years with the same women (she was a client if his). I guess a “client or boss” is a convenient way to be sexually involved and have a total cover up that makes sense 🤔 Note to self, never date or live with a man that has to “work over night in his office” 😂 it’s the best excuse for sleeping with another person!

I did everything I could and be still ghosted me and blocked. I'm devastated. Been more than a month. Reading your comment had comfort and warmth. I'm a mess rn and trying to sort it. He promised me to marry me in Feb. It's almost feb. And I'm dying every day. Yk. He was my first serious relationship or idk if it ever was a relationship. My brain is playing games on me. healthy boundaries i would say is the best way for me to deal with folks. i still have trouble with this but I am definitely learning. so maybe build fences and not big walls.

My Aquarius man does exactly this. When I’m with him the world doesn’t exist it’s just us and it’s amazing. Once I go home it’s like I don’t exist. Communication is very limited. So ignore him, he watched all my status on what’s app but won’t call. He will let over a week pass. Then when he notices I have not called then he reaches out. Never been so confused in my life😢
Just as an update… I let my Aquarius man go because I have to put me first. Told him it’s over and he didn’t really but he still watches everything I post with saying a word. Nope I just don’t want to give my attention to that. He ain’t done me wrong but neither has he done me right so I move on

My fiancé has that ice cold attitude! He was hurt bad by his past relationships. What bothers me is I am NOTHING alike them nor have I ever cheated or lied to him . We are together 10 years and he still ice cold !! It’s damaging to a relationship, especially when the person you are with doesn’t deserve that! I have my own defense mechanisms as I’ve been seriously hurt too , but I am still warm and loving to him . I am a Scorpio and his coldness definitely brings out my stinger !
