Raced similar track in late 70s in same class in NW. My crew was my dad, he would have loved this video. Sad to see this class of racing on small tracks disappearing. Would give almost anything to drive one again for a season. Thanks for posting.
At 10:31 you can see the left front fender of 29 get hooked on the right rear fender of 69 so tight you can see 69 dragging 29 into the corner and behind the building. Just after the building 99 gives that little nudge with 29 as the anchor and they go around.
@@TMRacingVideos Sorry to hear that. Seems to be the fate of so many small tracks. Loved watching 1/4 mile dirt ovals here in TX for a while, but all local ones are gone. Thanks for helping to document the sport.
@@coreylawrence567 Do you know where this division went since the track closed? I know Shanondoah said they could race there but it dosent look like it .

Instablaster...
Pretty cool seeing Paul Jones on asphalt. Used to park near him in the pits of Potomac Speedway.
The graphics on Wreckfest are getting better.

Great Race!!
Great Racing....
Wow it's squirrel season.
A lot of beatin' and banging' for a minute there.
10:35 it looks like the 99 car gives the 29 a love tap on the quarter to try to get him unhooked lol
Where is/was this speedway located?
Located near Richmond, VA. Just closed down for good this year.

cool of wayne to mention ronnie murry.
Street stocks that are slow. The street stocks in Florida would kill them. They should call this class pure stock
A few years before this it was an enduro class. The drivers asked to make it a normal class using the same stock cars.
