  • While on our boat in Vancouver, Lorraine made some excellent meals, sometimes closely observed by our lab, MacKenzie. This video shares some of our initial experience at cooking on the boat. In this first video, we thought we’d say a few words about the equipment that we used and some of the meals that were made.

Super helpful video!!!! We are getting ready to take our first outing on our new boat where we will need to cook. I had NO idea of even where to start. This really got my brain working!!! Thank you for a delightful video!

thank you, we have started our voyage to Alaska and I have made a few changes that I can update you on. We have increased the cooking prep space by installing a large cutting board to put over the sink. We installed some rubber feet on the board to keep it in place. Since this is a onger trip, I have pre-preapred abput 12 meals in gallon plastic jars using a cookbook called The Instant Pot Meals in a Jar Cookbook by Pamela Ellgen. I stored them in the utility area and in most cases all I need in addition to what is in the jar is a protien and some stock. Enjoy your cooking on the boat . Lorraine

I know R27 hull bottom is about quarter inch thick, do you know the hull lay up schedule/ how thick on your new 43 hull?

Sorry I don't know off hand. I'll ask the factory and post another comment when they get back to me.
