We pick up our brand new #BaileyUnicorn #Cadiz caravan from the lovely folks at #farnhamleisure - don’t forget to check them out if you are in the market for a new Bailey caravan or a used caravan. It’s fair to say we were rather excited and we give you a little tour inside after getting it back home on the drive!

We too parted with our fun motorhome and am now on our second Bailey Unicorn- so much more room and homely too - good choice.

Your enthusiasm is lovely to see. We can totally relate to how you feel. We too collected our caravan in Autumn. We'd decided to return to it after a break and previously having an older starter caravan, various tents and even a couple of trailer tents. We'd been doing holiday cottages in GB and Europe for a few years but Coronvirus has turned our attention back to caranaving. We're started researching and found a 2019 demonstrator Unicorn IV Valencia for sale and jumped at it. We too love the Unicorn. Fingers crossed we can soon get out there and enjoy our purchaes. Absolutely love the Cadiz range, we had a Córdoba but will be picking up a Swift Challenger in a couple of weeks. But will always love the Bailey Cadiz. Enjoy your new Caravan x

We thought your caravan before the motorhome looked nice. Then we followed you on your Scotland trip in the motorhome and we were convinced that a motorhome was the way we should go. Now we see your new caravan and it looks stunning. We're still looking for the right motorhome to come along but after seeing your new caravan we're having second thoughts. The bottom line is we want a caravan just like the one you've bought. Enjoy your lovely caravan, hopefully we'll find ours soon.

Thanks for your reply. I was surprised to get a reply after such a long time, lol. We found a caravan last year in Worcester, caravans were so difficult to get hold of at that time. We went down from sunny Norfolk, fell in love with it, bought it and brought it home. It’s a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz 2018 model with fixed single beds. The beds are so long which was a big factor to me being 6’4”. We’ve been out and about in it several times and it’s a delight. We are very pleased. We still watch and enjoy your vlogs. We hope you are both well and still enjoying your caravan.

We have a small swift have had two Bailey senators in the past. Put off Bailey this time because of the recalls.

Thanks Peter. Yes we had a swift before which was a great caravan, there are pros and cons to both but we do love this van. Hopefully when we get out using it, we won’t have any issues 🤞

So pleased for you both, I know it was a tough decision and lots of thought went it to it but it’s the right move. The van looks fantastic, open and spacious. The fridge is a great bonus, agree about it being higher up then you can see it it without kneeling down on the floor. Lots more memories to be made.....when you can eventually get to use it! I totally agree with your comments about the split door. When we upgraded a few years ago you couldn't buy a new caravan with one. We really miss it and have to make do with all sorts of gadgets to keep the dog in when you want the door open because its hot and trying to put the awning up . Love your layout looks a lovely van. Happy holidays.

Good luck guys on going back to a caravan. Its been really interesting to hear your views. You may or may not know that we have gone to a motorhome. We have only had one camp stay in it so far s it was a rally (that didn't rally lol) so we stayed on site. Transferring to the motorhome was all very positive for us. I suppose my apprehension is: how easy it will be to park and see the touristy places. Let's hope it won't be too long before we can try it out. There is absolutely no shame in what you have done, you know what you like and you've gone for it.....good on you. Happy travels in your new beauty and I hope we'll be able to catch up with you on a site one day ~ Lin xx
Hey Lin, I think one of problems was our motorhome was just too big. I think it’s all down to what you want to use it for, there are massive positives to a motorhome but we just realised we don’t use it the way to get the most out of it! Thanks for your kind comments, good luck with the moho!

Love your choice of van guys. We have the unicorn Pamplona and we love it. Bailey as far as we are concerned tick all out boxes. I was interested to here you talk about a 8 hour trip to Devon and the expected to relax in a seat you’ve just spent 8 hours in NO THANK YOU. The Bailey couches are very comfy you’ll love them, they’re made for relaxing.

Hey David! Yes we really struggled with the motorhome seats, nothing to do with that model or make, they are just not as comfy as a caravan lounge! We can’t wait to get out and use the caravan 😃👍

Hey Guy. Thanks! Yes the MTPLM is 1500kg, I will be towing with a Ford Ranger Wildtrak, so no issues there!
Do you find the beds wide enough - they look tiny. Or do you sleep very still without much moving around or turning over?
Hey Anne. Yes we find the beds perfectly wide enough. If you’re on your back then your arm does hang over the edge slightly but got to be honest we both spend most of the night on our sides
@@CaravanChitChat one of the reasons I asked is because we are moving (again) from a motorhome to a Bailey caravan. Never had a Bailey caravan or motorhome before. Our motorhome bed is two sofa's brought together to make a huge bed, that we love. But for many of the reasons you changed back to a caravan, we are the same. We are currently looking at the Bailey Alicanto Porto with a double bed that is 4' 8" wide. Our bed at home is over 6 foot.
We have a Cadiz, which is a lovely looking van, but who decided it was a good idea to put that shelf in the bathroom. We hate it.
Oh yes there’s some little things on ours where we question why, but lots of touches we do like. If only they’d let us design a van hey 😆
