Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out this video! Are you under 5'7", the 65cm ball would work great. Over 5'7", you'll probably want the 75cm. I go into more detail in the video and please let me know if this helps you out!
This helps so much! I'm between 5'2" and 5'3". I found a ball at my local 5below store. It's super small and it doesn't feel like it's doing me any good. Now I understand why. Lol
Thank you and I apologize for not responding. I was not getting notifications and haven't been on TH-cam much. That is about to change as I'm getting super focused on bringing the best I can to my subscribers. Stay tuned! Do you have any questions about using the stability ball and do you think some exercise demos would be helpful?
Hi I just ran across your video. I am looking at the tri-deer stability ball with the piece. Do use that as a chair I am 5 foot tall. I really want it for a chair and to exercise. My desk is 29 inches tall which one do you suggest I would hope that you see this messageI want to get the ball for both purposes of chair and exercise
I'm glad you found one that is comfortable for you! That would be a great chair height as well if you want to change up how you sit at your desk. You would just have to make sure it is inflated well. Enjoy!
Yes, if you're between 5'7", either would probably work. If you're using it as a chair, the larger is better. If inflated well, the smaller would be good and would give you a little more stability.
Yes. Absolutely go with the 75cm ball. Make sure it is pumped up firm enough so that when you sit on it, your knees are just slightly lower than your hips.
Hahaha. It is something you only do if you are 100% comfortable on the ball. I would never ask anyone to do chest flyes on a ball unless they were 100% in control. And never EVER with extremely heavy weights.
Yes, it would definitely be more of a challenge than on a solid surface. Stabilizer muscles would have to be FULLY engaged to keep yourself on a ball, even if you weren't doing the chest flye. Just trying to stay on the ball without any weights is a workout in itself.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and I apologize for not responding. I was not getting notifications and haven't been on TH-cam much. That is about to change as I'm getting super focused on bringing the best I can to my subscribers. Stay tuned! I think a 75 or 85 would work well for someone 5'8". It would depend on how tight you inflate the ball and if your legs are long in comparison to your torso.
What about weight does it matter too I got 85 cm my weight 85 kg I tried 75 cm my hip was lower then my knee maybe due to weight So I got 85cm is it ok ?? Please let me know
The packaging should indicate the weight restriction but your weight doesn't dictate the size ball. How tall are you? There is a possibility that if your knees are still higher than your knees, it may not be pumped up enough.
I can understand that and I agree, they can be intimidating. Remember it is 75 cm and not inches. :) You want to inflate it so that it is tight with just a little give when you push on it. Just keep inflating and testing it until when you sit on it, your hips are just a little above you knees. I'm sorry for the delay in responding - I didn't receive notifications for many of my comments.
100%% Haha! Yep, I tried for years to slow down. That's my personality (I love who I am), and it's the Newfie roots in me. I know you can speed up videos? I haven't looked if we can slow them down! 😉

my pleasure and I hope it has helped you get comfortable with the ball!
This is so helpful thank you!
I am afraid what if it gets burst while i am exercising
Hi, I am 5'2. What size should I choose?
I am 5 '2.5" inches, and I love the 65cm ball.
Hi ,M 4’10” n I ordered 55mm but it looks very small. Is it fine for me??

I ran n bought 85 CM dia n it FITS me well with my 5'6" height.

Thank you ! If you are between 2 sizes so i guess both would work good, which ball with make the exercises more difficult? The bigger or the smaller?
Yes, if you're between 5'7", either would probably work. If you're using it as a chair, the larger is better. If inflated well, the smaller would be good and would give you a little more stability.
@@Journey2Wellness thanks a lot !
Hi! I'm flat 4ft and i just ordered yoga ball with 65cm. But it feels like it's too small for me. Is this fine?
When i sat on it, it seemed like my knees were higher than my hips
My guess is you need to pump it up a lot more or the sizing label was incorrect. I'm just under 5'3" and that was a 65cm ball in the video.
Can you remake this without the music...please?
I am 181 cm guy.75 cm is enough?
Go for 85cm
A 75 would work, but you should be able to use an 85cm no problem.
My height is 5.10, which size ball i choose
The 75cm is recommended for 5'7" and above.
I'm 5.11". Should I go for 75 cm?
Yes. Absolutely go with the 75cm ball. Make sure it is pumped up firm enough so that when you sit on it, your knees are just slightly lower than your hips.
@@Journey2Wellness Thank you so much !! 😊
Hi ma’am, I am 5.4 so which size will you suggest for me? Thank you so much🙏🏻
you do chest flys on the ball O_O like that isn't asking for death
Hahaha. It is something you only do if you are 100% comfortable on the ball. I would never ask anyone to do chest flyes on a ball unless they were 100% in control. And never EVER with extremely heavy weights.
yea but why on a ball :D is that just a challenge or what why not do it on a bench
Yes, it would definitely be more of a challenge than on a solid surface. Stabilizer muscles would have to be FULLY engaged to keep yourself on a ball, even if you weren't doing the chest flye. Just trying to stay on the ball without any weights is a workout in itself.
@@Journey2Wellness oh yeah it defenietly trains stability to now i remember :D
am 5/5 and 200 pound which one i need ty
I think at 5'5", the 75cm would be great for you. Just review the video and I explain how to choose, inflating, etc...
Hey Im 5 feet 8 inches. Can I use 85cm ball ?

I m 4'11" ,i need a birthing ball, which one shoul i get?
What about weight does it matter too I got 85 cm my weight 85 kg
I tried 75 cm my hip was lower then my knee maybe due to weight
So I got 85cm is it ok ??
Please let me know

Will a 24in ball work if I’m 5’4
Yes, 24in or 65cm should be perfect for your height. Just make sure it is fully inflated.
I’m worried to blow my 75 up to 75 . I think might explode. !!

@@Journey2Wellness 😂😅
For your height you should be using 55cm. Your messing up your biomechanics with those differences in angles
Thank you!
