    As a human who has spent many years in the Hospitality industry, I can relate to the second story.
    99% of human customers are fine when bored, even if they have ADHD; often simply falling asleep, singing or talking to themselves, or whatever. But, trust me, that 1% can cause the kind of trouble you don't want to imagine. And with most starliners holding an average 10% humans because of their addiction to travel, those 300 humans have a VERY good chance of having SEVERAL potential "stories to tell the grandchildren" incidents onboard. And don't get me started on the transit commuters. Those may only hold a couple hundred people, but not only are half of them humans, but, due to ALL of them already being bored because they're on a routine commute, the trouble percentage goes as high as 10%. And, trouble is contagious even with non bored humans; but at least the non bored humans usually temper the trouble to a relatively harmless annoyance.
    So, yes. A bored human is a dangerous human... Especially if they're Engineers, College Students, or work in Sales and Marketing.

      As an engineer, I can attest that a bored engineer is trouble.

    Last story reminds me of the safety briefing I heard during my military training. We were banned from using a particular hotel chain because some intoxicated soldier set fire and completely burned down the utility shed attached the hotel.

    On alien stations "Don't let them get bored!" Is said with the same gravitas that a human might say "Don't feed them after midnight!"

    For we are not human anymore, but wind! It loses in the translation i fear. Part of a letter of a divine wind pilot to his family.
    You cannot stop the wind , nor can you hold it for long.
    A bored human, is chaos unleashed , only more predictable. They will instinctively seek out company and excitement. If none exists.. they will create it. Never allow a human to b come bored while traveling abroad. Realities have collapsed ,because of a single bored human.

      also be carefull at which entretainments you are giving access to to the humans as there have been incidents of casinos going backrupt after a human played poker there for too long

    If Zeno’s think bored humans are bad and bored human engineers are worse; I wonder what the xeno’s would think of bored humans called rednecks, hicks and hillbillies?

    Honestly it should be easy for people to turn down a demons offers, gifts, or wishes. The simple fact is, no matter what you get isn’t worth the price paid to get it. Consequences matter. And no negative consequence is ever worth paying.

      When a super villain says they want to rule the world/solar system/galaxy or whatever I thank why? Do you really want to deal with the kind of administration that's going to require?

  • @silvadelshaladin
    @silvadelshaladin ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Eh, demons have no loyalty to their own. It should have been fine and even happy that such a wish was made enabling it to destroy all of it's brethren.

    • @Midnight-7411
      @Midnight-7411 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Except the power it wields isn’t high enough to face all the other demons, it’s like asking a dog to fight a bear, sure the dog is a lot more willing then the wish demon but is the dog gonna win? No and it’s clear the hero doesn’t wield the strength necessary to achieve such a feat, otherwise he’d just do it himself

    • @silvadelshaladin
      @silvadelshaladin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Midnight-7411 The paladin asked for more things though than that. Even if it couldn't just obliviate all of the demons with a snap of a finger it could certainly give something that would allow the paladin to achieve such much easier.
