I really enjoyed the "I am number 4" series, id reccomend it, I have such a good imagination, but havnt read since high school ( that was 6 years ago). literally am getting the series for my birthday because I wanted to pick up reading again. so seeing this vid was kinda freaky timing lmao
It's kinda crazy that I was reading a book right before watching this vid(the Minecraft book(yeah ik)) idk if it's because I wasn't really forced to read all that much, in my whole school years I've been told to read 2 books and one was in this year and one in ye previous year, but I don't mind reading all that much, especially if it's fiction. I don't exactly like autobiographies or smthn like that because they can't exactly keep me entertained, I'd rather watch a documentary than read. I do agree with the book not making PPL smart thing. Especially because it's just a general umbrella term "reading" even though it could be encyclopaedias, or fiction, or autobiographies you're reading. And obviously fiction doesn't give you as much info as the others do.
Depending on what the subject is yeah documentaries are much better to watch than to read. Also, that’s a cool take you have on reading. I wonder had I not been forced to read as much in school like you, if I would have a different opinion about it. Also which Minecraft book lol?
