Nice content. I try my best to move my boat above the trap to haul as verticals as possible. Also with practice there is no need to get in the water to retrieve your boat. With practice you can motor up on to your trailer🤙🏼
I’ve just recently got into crabbing , I’ve been going at torpedo wharf in San Francisco where we can’t keep the Dungeness unfortunately. It would be a dream come true to get to crab on a boat like this someday.
Appreciate you. I truly believe we can make it possible for you to come with us one day. Yes, I'm super grateful for all the love. I get to wake up and chase my dreams. I know you'll do the same
Thank you for watching, OutdoorEdition. The net flipped because we accidentally hit the plug for the crab puller, causing it to shut off. I believe the line slacked and caused the net to flip. It was a great mistake, now we know what happens in that situation. I appreciate the great question
First pull you guys had some big crab number one rule when pulling pots is just like fishing never let slack hit your line or your will lose your catch
Thank you for watching and for the great question. I use stainless steel 3in carabiners and no, they do not interfere with the buoy. Here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B092TF6JQN?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
JoeRegan-Kd6sl, thanks for noticing that there were monsters in the net. When the net flipped, I recall the crab saying 'Merry Christmas' to us and doing the crab walk

Great Content! Makes me want to visit the area 🙌
Thank you, Vicsoccer92. Living 30 minutes from the ocean is truly stunning. Next time, if you're in the area, I would gladly show you around
I like the under water footage. Cool video. Just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub!
Can u do a vid of how your set up your rope/buoy?
Yes, I will certainly make a video about the setup. Thanks again for the feedback
Why was your hoop flipped upside down as you pulled it in?

Nice video, how deep did you drop the net?
Appreciate you for watching. The depth was around 70 to 80 feet
Thank you

Ehhh it’s the homies from my days at Graton. Glad to see y’all.
Driftmanx, we hope all is well and appreciate the time spent at Graton with you
Nice! What kind of clips did u use to connect the rope to the hoop net? And does it ever interfere with the buoy?
