A patient with a history of ocular trauma ("eye hit") and high myopia had cataract surgery without complications. A - 1 Diopter intraocular lens was placed. The patient's high myopia and the risks of a new surgery led to the decision to remove the intraocular lens. The patient is now emmetropic and happy.

Paciente con antecedente de traumatismo ocular ("golpe en el ojo") de pocas horas de evolución. Antecedente de alta miopía y cirugía de catarata sin complicaciones. Tiene colocada una lente intraocular de -1 dioptría, por lo que se decide solo remover la lente intraocular y no suturar una nueva debido a su alta miopía y los riesgos consecuentes. Alegremente resulta emétrope y feliz.
