So far I've watched "CLiffs of Dover," "Crazy Train," "Kickstart My Heart," and now "Panama." You are, without a doubt, the best female guitarists on this side. You lines are flawless & fluid, and the videos are spectacularly clean & clear and I can see everything you're playing on the fretboard. Above all--I think you're very humble and Iad mire that. Even more, you get me excited about my own playing and I just want to run and grab my Strat and jam. I like the pre-videos of you learning "Cliffs of Dover" and that just makes you more human than some cover artists it gives me the enthusiasum and inspiration to keep learning rather than drop my guitar and walk away from a project in disgust. I love you!

I've been playing for 36 years myself and ANYTHING by Eddie Van Halen is just ----ing GREAT! He [with my DAD!] was my first concert ever! Way back in 1981! My biggest inspiration! And you nailed this song beautifully!
I mean this guitar work is legendary. That's why we love Eddie. I'm so grateful to have heard this stuff for the first time in 1984. I'm addicted to watching it, because its so interesting to watch someone play it note for note, it just gives you a greater appreciation for what Eddie wrote. Great Job Sophie!
I'm 33 years old. I got my first paycheck at 16. I bought van Halen greatest hits and black sabbath we sold our soul for rock and roll. You nailed this one your so freaking awsome!
She's good and I really love this cover, but these 'the best ever' statements are hard to justify. Have a look at this, on youtube: Jasmine Jams Episode 6 | Van Halen - "Jump"
As a strat player for years. I honestly was swayed to buy a PRS cu24 just because of this one in Sophies videos.. a stunning example. love the flame top and gold hardware.
You Brits just got it.... So talented people. God Bless you, I cant imagine how many hours of practice you had perfecting these songs.. Fabulous darling!
Hi Sophie..heres my request for you to consider.."and the cradle will rock"..van Halen. My dad's got me really into them and this song has a strange sound that begins it..id love to see how it's done by watching you
You can really how much your guitar tone has cleaned up since this. I'm talking about your recordings and not the sound of your guitar in the room, im sure thats even better. This cover here is great but today you're getting phenomenon sound. Im a veteran sound engineer. I salute you Sophie 🤘
As a guitar player of 50 years I'm extremely impressed at your attention to detail. I have an extraordinary talent at being able to recall sophisticated musical passages. You clearly have this as well. What an excellent job! And you made it look do easy!
good grief you make it look so easy, been playing for twenty years and i can't even come close to that level, i love your videos, you are amazing! you make me wanna just not even try your so good lol, it's so awesome especially the solo where you don't even look, you look into the camera.... your gonna be famous for sure, keep it up keep it going💛
Very cool, great tone, my fav VH track too - pretty much how I play(ed) it, back in the day😊✌️👍 I worked it out from vinyl records, VHS videos and the odd bit of TAB from the backs of magazines - that was in the 1880s😄😄✌️ sorry 1980s😲😲🙄 how time flies!
If possible I would love to hear you do a cover of Van Halen's Everybody Wants Some. Eddie did some crazy good shit playing on that song for sure. WOW!
Never been a Van Halen fan, but this song specifically has such a cool bunch of licks. Also, I really appreciate how you put the sponsor portion at the end of the video so we can get right into what we clicked for.
Hello!! I would request "Poundcake" from Van Halen with a drill, please, you're one of my influences to continue playing the guitar!! 😅❤🤟 PD: Greetings from Mexico! 🇲🇽
Hi there, just found your video while cruising thru and wow.. You nailed it!!!! You have perfect presence and you seem to flow naturally with the song, it becomes yours.. and I like how you play along with the original recording but you're the only guitar. You are right on every note and no mess ups..and you're perfectly relaxed, I love it!! Eddie would be proud of you, and I think you're amazing❤ I just subscribed and clicked notifications, and wanna see all of your work.
I really loved the hell out of watching this video. You truly look like you have having fun and you're not trying to go out of your way to amass a SIMP following either.
You are truly awesome...just love your videos Sophie...I appreciate the guitar in these songs so much more watching how you play them..blessings to you!
Great Van Halen cover, Sophie!!! Nice touch with his signature guitar design on your computer monitor, too!!! I was fortunate enough to see them live, in concert, a number of years ago, when they were fronted by Sammy Hagar. Never did get to see them with Diamond Dave (David Lee Roth). If you're looking for another Van Halen cover, my favorite has always been "Finish What Ya Started". 👍🤘🎸
Absolutely SMOKING cover. Just FN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! I love the subtle, and completely ROCKING chord changes at exactly 2:00 and 3:23. You've got what it takes to ROCK, and you will go far.

Panama is my favorite VH song! Nice job on this!
Top Jimmy!! It requires a drop D tuning on one of the guitars but the main rhythm and of course the solo is all you need!
You make it look soooo easy. I wish I could drink my coffee as easy!
