Although it has been a very slow start to the season, we are finally starting to see some progress. Some of the Nucs have expanded nicely over the last week or so ant it is now time to transfer them into full sized boxes. A little break in the what has been generally a wet and cold spring has allowed us to go out and work on transferring these nucs.
We are transferring these nucleus colonies into Paradise Honey boxes ‪@ParadiseHoney‬
I'm a part time Beekeeper from Ireland, mainly involved in honey production. I also do Queen rearing on a self sustaining level. Currently we maintain around 50 colonies at various apiary sites, but we do have plans for expansion.
I decided for 2024 that I'd start this channel, covering the trials and tribulations of beekeeping and being a beekeeper in Ireland. I hope to give beekeeping tips along the way from my own experiences and I will also have discussions and reviews on some of the equipment I use.

I don't intend to do 'how to' or instructional type videos nor will my beekeeping practices always follow a textbook approach, but rather I hope to show how I do things; which may not always be considered the best way, but which I find works for me - most of the time! It's real life, week to week beekeeping, the good, the bad and the ugly!

Nice calm bees. Looks like it is verry good genetic. My bees are agresive and verry stingy.

Oh, I have bees like that too! I tend to ship them out to the out apiaries.
