What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Idk why, but for me, having visual triggers is as important as audio triggers, and with the amounts of hand and apparatus movement i find these videos, they have easily become my favourite go to asmr. Thanks SRP :D

Another fantastic video, great visual and auditory triggers- it's always so soft but also quite serious at the same time, hard to explain, I live how it's all genuine as well, gives it a much more authentic feel coming from such a talented doctor who know what everything means, you never try to oversell what you're saying- it's normal, and I love how it gives me tingles.

Wow, this one is powerful. After a car accident a few years ago and seeing tons of doctors for various issues your channel is my preferred ASMR.

First off- you are so talented and your asmr game is on point, you’re by far my favorite eye exam role play. Second, are freckles in your eye bad? My sister and niece both have a brown freckle in their blue eyes.
Freckles are quite common in my experience. Both on the Iris and at the back of the eye. So long at they don’t show signs of growth (which I hear is rare).

Wow!!! I listened to this while working a tedious report. SUPER tingly, SRP! The sound of the measuring and the paper, the closeups of your fingers as you felt around the virtual eye (personal attention always a trigger) are phenomenally tingly. All of which is made even better by the best ASMR voice on TH-cam. Will listen again before bed time for relaxation. 👍🏻🙂

My only thought when you do videos which involve you saying 'turn to the left/right' is that I wish you had some foot-operated contraption that the camera could be mounted on that would do just that, for realism. I know it's probably asking too much, but it's the one thing that all medical role plays fall down on, imo.
I’ve often thought this too.
Other than turning the camera and editing that out, it’s tricky.

Is it a creator choice to have captions automatically come up on videos or is TH-cam just saying something about your accent? 🤣 Haven'y watched the video yet but the first 30 seconds are ace!!
I think so. My first job is to try and go through and correct TH-cam’s interpretation of my dialog. Then I like to translate for my Spanish and Portuguese speaking viewers (based on demand and requests). TH-cam does indeed have trouble interpreting my accent 😂
