Vow, very interesting, to know how balls r made. Some 40 years back i tried to make a ball, and i succeeded, but i took me almost 8 days to complete it. One needs a lot of patience. it seems in Pakistan small boys r employed in work houses to make hand stiched balls.

I truly admire these guys. They work hard with their hands. It seems like something at least in which our bodies are in control. The mind can rest. Good for bodies, mind, and spirit. Beats the hell out of scamming old, vulnerable persons with health problems. I'm not calling any names. Scamming gives the India people and those of similar appearance a bad name.
Backward cottage industry. I have such labour intensive job in Pakistan, like making cooker and kadai. But I have also seen and admire very skilled craftsmen making tin boxes, gas stoves, tin bucket.
