At 6:08 in the absail scene she appears to be attached to that power decender by a Petzl Caritool. They are rated at max 0.05kn or around 5kg breaking strength and designed to hold light tools. They will hold more but it's an insane thing to hang a person off. If that was all that was holding her she is very lucky it didn't break.

In fact, with the pendulum scene in the first movie, Angelina rode it when none of her stunt doubles could do so for more than a few seconds without getting dizzy. As for her acting, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Personally, I think she did amazing. Alicia was good, too, but her acting seemed kind of weak to me. Maybe that was just the script and what she had to work with, but for a Survivor her screams weren't prominent enough. Not like Camilla Luddington's. That voice actress did great, ngl.

Not going to lie, if Lu Ren was a Hong Kong guy, he should have been called Luk Yan instead, as most Hong Kongers’ names are based off Cantonese, if I say so myself, being Hong Konger, and to say that nobody in my cinema needed subtitles for the Chinese is an understatement, their pronunciation was a little off though, although I loved it when Alicia spoke Chinese.
