I wouldn't go as far as deeming these areas as safe. Especially in scenario 1.

Hi, nice video. But, IMO you can use the exhaust fan to remove the smoke from the room in the 2nd scenario, provided that it is at least 2 hrs durable on 400 Celsius.

That would result in the fan forcing fresh air to enter the room and feed the fire causing it to grow more quickly.
