I'm not sure which one I like more either. I've always left the bike in high because the majority of the trails I ride are rooty and mostly level with quick uphills and short downhill sections. Riding in low recently, I actually think it might be better for getting through this tough terrain with more stablity. I don't notice a difference in climbing at all tbh
@@JP-ot5km Sure, a dropper post is something I will never go without on a mountain bike again. The dropper post that I have on the Fuel is the stock one it comes with and was my first bike with a dropper post. It did the job of going up and down, but there were times it would get a little gritty, so I would clean it out and re-grease it and that seemed to help a little. It’s entry level so there is more side to side pay in it than higher up versions, but that’s just how it goes with droppers. Other than that, it worked and I had no issues with it.
The difference is just .5 degrees between low and high. Would you be able to tell the difference if the mino link was masked by tape (so you do not know what position is on) by riding the bike or is it the usual placebo effect?
I have the EX7 2021 model. I had to switch to the high position. The stearing felt so weird in the low. Now it rides perfect.

I just switched mine to the high setting. I have the same bike.

You’d be surprised how much a .5 degree difference feels. You can definitely tell.
