      @@totoitekelcha7628 I really feel pitty people like you. In your small world you explain business to me. I have own brands of small electrical home supplies. And I developed first 3 of them by myself drom scratch.
      I kmow what developing is.
      England didnt import a cheaper motor or cheaper sensor or landing gear.
      They imported whole completed drone itself and they develıped micro ammunition for that drone.
      Then you must say RAF developed a micro missile not a drone.
      Because that drone is developed and manufactured in Turkey.
      Because Turkey designs developes and manufacture a capable drone in western standarts for a way cost effective way.
      Next time learn what product and semi product is. Jackal is a full product drone to deliver cargo. What english company developed was an missile not a drone.

    You can speed things up and increase range considerably by employing a coaxial setup in that heli body, powering it with liquid fuel in an 800 scale suitable engine.
    That'll be your LIFT taken care of; then you can continue to use your uav motor and props setup for directional control and static stability; thus increasing your travel range and speed by having the coaxial setup countering the payload weight, saving more battery life for your uav motors/props setup without increasing battery capacity.

    • @Andreas-gh6is
      @Andreas-gh6is ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have their reasons, I guess. For the "coaxial" by which you probably mean a two rotors counterrotating like in some helicopters, that has a a couple of drawbacks like being a lot harder to produce and maintain, especially in the field. Liquid fueled drones are even louder than electric ones, and also harder to maintain. Electric powered multicopters only need some electronic tinkering tools to fix most things, for coaxials or even fueled engines you need to have more mechanical and greasy stuff.

      They thought about ECMs years ago, and they are probably well equipped for any effort to counter them, if its running on a pre planned mission, you have no need for a receiver to be switched on so there is no signal to mess with, the only way to counter them is to shot them down.

Let me know what you think? the research and development costs are very high so if it's a no-goer i will stop developing now?

  • @scottwhiting1871

    I think it's a step forward for innovation but I do worry for the drone if it needs all 8 of the props, can it still fly if it loses at least 2 of the props?

    • @Andreas-gh6is
      @Andreas-gh6is ปีที่แล้ว

      One reason these kinds of drones have so many propellers is that it is cheaper to have many smaller motors than fewer bigger ones. Easier to source, maintain, keep cool. Smaller diameter also means less problems with the material of the blades. Another is redundancy, they can often deal with one or too motors failing, but it would usually end the flight, just with the multicopter landing instead of crashing.

    • @ashleygoggs5679
      @ashleygoggs5679 ปีที่แล้ว

      another thing to note is these are supposed to have wongs too, however the video they took them out, so if a motor fails the drone should be able to glide to relative safety, or crash landed if safe landing isnt an option.
