Literally captivating. Somehow they achieved perfection with that character model. They also did so while staying realistic. It's a crazy accomplishment.
I love how in any other story powder would indeed be getting her moment of triumph and vindication by saving everyone, and it would be fine if not ultimately underwhelming. This show is so much better than that.
@blackshard641 exactly, that's what I like about it! The same for Vi fighting - yeah she can just about get through the goons, just and it takes a real toll, but as soon as Deckard shows up it's game over and there's nothing for her to do but retreat.
You’re probably one of the most perceptive reactors I’ve watched! So many people miss a lot of the little details in this show (Deckard being addicted, the moment Powder realizes what the stones do, etc.), so you have no idea how great it is to see someone who doesn’t need every little thing spelled out for them. Not that I blame other react channels too much. They’ve likely just seen a lot of other shows that explain everything straight up. Also, I see I’m not the only one down bad for ✨Mel✨
Great reaction. You have damn good instincts. Mel’s attraction transcends all sex, race, color, normal preferences et al. She is a hottie above. The real villain is marcus (he doesn’t even deserve a capital letter). Enjoy the rest of the trauma.
@ more of a hapless twat perhaps. He saw someone he looked up to had an agreement with a power player in the undercity and without doing his due diligence figured he could do the same. Never thought about the reproductions of said actions, who could die, how it would affect everything and everyone. But he ignorantly stuck to his dumbass decision regardless of the harm he brought to everyone else. Sorry, he is the most guilty, spineless jackwads in the entire series. From my perspective. And now it looks like his daughter is going to be driven by vengeance and spite. From her perspective I can see it. But she’ll never know her dad brought it upon himself.
The water in the river and around the cities is so polluted it’s toxic, like you saw with Silco’s eye. Retrospectively, that’s also why Powder dumping their bag of loot into the water in the first episode meant they totally lost it. They can’t go diving for their valuables in toxic water.
Quick note to say that you are tremendously perceptive as a reactor - there's a lot of detail in this show, and a lot of it is a masterclass in 'show, don't tell'. Oh, yeah subbed. 100%. One of the great things about this show is that there are few simple, entirely straightforward answers. The plot is dense and convoluted, characters are complex and grow and change. Some more than others, of course. It's one reason you'll see people endlessly arguing over character motivations, levels of blame, decisions made, good and bad. And never apologize for your reaction to Mel. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who is indifferent to her. I mean, tastes differ, I suppose, but Mel is beautiful. Take care, have a great time, and BUCKLE UP - Arcane is a wild ride! Oh, I see you've got Ep 4 out! So off we go!
I loved your reaction! You are paying attention to most of the details, but! Just think about this - when Silco is in front of Powder and she hugs him she says 'She is not my sister anymore!' - that's literally younger Silco with Vander. They were (like) brothers - and Silco feels like Vander betrayed him. At this moment Silco feels like he knows what young Powder is going through - he connects with her, he feels like he understands her. It's not manipulation - he takes her in because he sees his younger self in her. She lost her sister, he lost a brother. That's some food for thought c: All the best!
Jayce and Victor provided a small breaks in this steamrolling tragic story with a little bit of comedic relief. It would have been more unbearable without them. It's hard to put blame on anyone for what happened. It seems like the inevitable conclusion to this part of the story even though we never saw it coming.
I'm binging your reactions while I'm drawing and I had to stop and watch the screen for the end of this one 😭 ep3 always hits! I love the song in the credits, Goodbye by Ramsey. It hits really hard when it gets to the chorus, i wish the show had played more of it in the episode. My only solace in this ep is Viktor's "wait a minute, this isn't my bedroom" line 😂 like 👀🏳️🌈? (One of the storyboard artists for the show drew a meme that had Mel saying "This is my boyfriend Jayce, and his boyfriend Viktor" 🤣)
Did Milo and Claggor's deaths *really* come at the hands of Powder? Is it really her fault? Or is it Jayce's? He made the crystals that killed them. Or is it Vi's? She stole the crystals that killed them and let Powder keep them *even after* Jayce's apartment exploded. Or is it Vander's? Without his past "betrayal", Silco never kidnaps him and he doesn't need saving. Or is it Heimerdinger's? He led the council for almost 200 years while Piltover prospered and the undercity decayed, and not even Vander and Silco's rebellion on the bridge in ep 1 showed him how bad things had gotten. What I love about this show is everyone - even Silco - is doing what they think is the right thing. There are no bad guys or good guys, only choices and consequences.
What? 🤣 I'll show you what your message looks like to me. Okay, let's have a scenario where a person got shot in an alley way randomly by a person. What person is at fault here? Is it the person who pulled the trigger? is it the person who sold the gun? Is it the person who made the gun? Is it the person who made the bullet? Is it the person who built the factory in which the gun was built? Is it the person who owned the factory? Is it the person who founded the company that makes those guns? is it the person who came up with the idea of guns? Is it the psychiatrist who did not manage to fix the shooter's violent behavior? Is it the parents for not raising their child well enough? Is it the older brother for trying to convince his little sister to break up with the victim due to a 10 year old accident that happened between the victim and the brother, the break up then caused the victim to go on a walk late at night since he needed the fresh air instead of just moping around? Is it the man who was supposed to drop a nuclear bomb on the city the shooters grandparents lived in? Is it the mass murderer who killed the mans wife in a mass murder leading the man to despise mass murdering and then eventually not drop the nuclear bomb? ohhhhh! Is it the mass murderers uncles wife's fault for suggesting to the mass murderers parents that the mass murderer should attend a specific school where he would end up meeting his future life long friends that were bad influence to the mass murderer and slowly caused the mass murderer to become a violent cold-blooded killer? Anyways, I am exhausted. Rough year, rough couple of weeks, I have been sitting on this chair for the whole day doing absolutely nothing since I am not capable of doing anything right now lol. Take my message light-heartedly alright? 😡🤬ALSO! Jayce did not make the crystals, he just had them in his possession and used them for his experiments. And Vi did not stole the crystals. Powder did. Also Vi did not know the crystals were the cause of the explosion. lol. Anyways! bye
@@Viltzu-hk5wh Let’s make a few tweaks to your example for fun and see if it changes. Instead of an adult using a weapon meant to kill, to kill specifically the person they wanted to. The colleague who went to drop it off, and chose to leave it in the garage where he thought it was hidden when no one was home? The stranger who spotted them carrying it as he drove by but chose to not get involved/bother? The workplace that didn’t make dangerous equipment be labeled properly so that it couldn’t be mistaken so something else in the first place? It goes about how you would expect if you saw the headline, "girl, age 11, attempts to save family using improvised explosive device."
