Had to come back and comment on the first video I watched and I got hooked to your channel. My favorite TH-cam angler since. Much love! You are the man!
Hi Lads, looked like a great day on the lake, well done for the careful way you returned these great sporting fish to the water alive and well to fight another day. Tight lines..............Mike from England.
I like seeing these guys release these monsters. I swear, there are certain joys of keeping a monster fish, but I like the feeling of releasing a monster better.
Damn. Huge swope fan back in the day! That monster catch to seal the Alabama game was the greatest catch in Aggie history as far as I'm concerned. Too bad the concussions did him in before he could go to camp with Arizona. 2nd greatest wide receiver for A&M behind Mike Evans. Loved those guys playing together every Saturday. Gig em!
Love this video!! I once watched my dad line pull an 8lb 12oz largemouth to the shore at the pond by my house, looked very much lije that 10 lbr love giant bass the fight is amazing!
Beautiful homes on the lake. It looks like really nice place to be and you are right, It doesn't get much better than that. Good luck to you both...from Ca.
Just so you know, when the bass is held by the jaw horizontally or even at a 45 degree angle without any support other than the jaw hold, the Bass's jaw can take serious damage and may not be able to survive due to inability to feed.
@lakeforkguy , Looking at this video You have come a really long way in filming and becoming a better rolemodel, here you offcourse were a good fisherman, but now you are someone, and these videos are proof that you were a normal guy back in the days, Love it!
You guys got some different looking largemouths down there than we have up here in the Midwest. The ones you're catching have a distinctively looking front dorsal. Almost like a perch's. Nailed some nice ones, I like it!
From a Iowa Hawkeyes fan Go Aggies Wish I could do some good old Texas bass fishing with u guys I've fished in Iowa all my life and the biggest largemouth I've ever caught was only 2.5 pounds
great episode!! Was heart broken to hear Ryan was forced to retire due to concussion issues, better safe than sorry though. Maybe more time to go fishing for those giant Texas bass??
Good dude right there, should've been a NFL super star. Hope he is taking out all that passion on big bass. Appears so. Dude was KILLIN' IT! What is a Texas Aggie? ... A despoiler of virgins. A drinker of hard whiskey. And above all, a superb horseman (edit: angler). -Web Griffin
if anyone lives in indiana thre is a pond on cumberland and allisonvile that is freaking awesome you have to have a canoe but we caught FOURTY 5-10 pound bass one after another
***** im pretty sure hes talking about a little creek right off of the white river that opens up in the middle into a pond. the waterway is under potter bridge. if you google Cumberland road and allisonville ave. youll see it
hey man, a good frogging rod can be any 7ft or longer Heavy or Medium heavy action rod. I use a 7ft 3in medium heavy rod with 50lb braid. a rod 7ft or larger helps to get the better hook ups! hope this helps!
Well a very good rod for 100$ is the carrot stix, they make them in many sizes. My new favorite rod is a Shimano Sellus, it looks a lot like a Veritas. It comes in many sizes, i have a 7"3 in sellus. the baitcast rod costs only 60$ and the spinning is 50$. But the Shimano sellus i highly recommend! i use the 7"3 for frogging and it cast a mile!
I recognized McQueeney even before you guys went through the tunnel. How did you access the lake with no public access? I'd really like to get back out there.
for those of you asking why he does not keep the bass most of the larger fish especially 6+ lbers are females and produce lots of eggs and ensure that our future generations will have quality fish as well so practice catch and release.
Hey, I'm not sure, so I thought I'd ask - does it get any better than that?
Great days fishing. Next time I'm in the USA I will be fishing for large mouth bass.. Thanks for sharing.
best handline work I have seen since my trip to Africa. love your vids.
Had to come back and comment on the first video I watched and I got hooked to your channel. My favorite TH-cam angler since. Much love! You are the man!

+Josiah Peterson Bass jaws are pretty strong. They won't get damaged or hurt unless you are reckless with them.
why do you have to be a downer
Moving to Texas on Sunday to the Houston area, in TN now, can't wait to see the size of the fish I start reeling in!
@lakeforkguy , Looking at this video You have come a really long way in filming and becoming a better rolemodel, here you offcourse were a good fisherman, but now you are someone, and these videos are proof that you were a normal guy back in the days, Love it!
