So lovely to see you come back to a subject so dear to your heart. The garden is always busy whether it is the sudden burst of energy in Spring or the quiet repose of Winter. The colors of Autumn are late this year so there isn’t likely to be much color. But the warm days and rustling leaves makes for a private retreat and rejuvenation. And like your boxes of scraps and “plans for someday” our gardens evolve and become a representation of all the bits and bobs that inspire and delight us, which you always do ❤️ xx Kate

This is art journaling on high speed! Having the tags and bits prepared in advance does facilitate it. I love all the pages, your collaging is always a treat to see happen. Gorgeous all around!

I like a variety of papers, they sometimes cause problems, but I do enjoy trying to match the project to the paper (size, strength, decoration etc), it brings a new element into the whole art journal process for me. 🌷🌹🌺

What beautiful pages, Kari. I love having tags and cards and ephemera handy and already made and I love seeing them finally used lol. I could sit and make tags all day. I have TONS of them. I need to do something like this. Thanks Karie!

chipmunks are cute, do miss seeing them and have them come up and try to still something from the picnic table camping. not many squirrels here, but there are a few red ones up on the hill in the forests, so thats good 😀 that book is def getting a b it thicc!
Yes, it seems chipmunks are braver than our squirrels, I miss the red ones near where I lived in Fife, we seem to have just greys here. I do love them! Yes, that book is really chunking up now! 🌸🌿🌺
Hi Kari! I have a Fiskars universal scissor sharpener. I love it and don't know what I would do without it! It may seem pricey but I think it's worth it! Love your garden journal!
Wowsers, so gorgeous. With regard to your scissors, you need to cut into aluminium/tin foil with them, if you fold the foil over into a few layers the better it is. Hope it helps. Tfs xo
