    I have been coming to Israel for over 40 years and things have changed a lot.The hotel prices quoted here are not accurate any more.A bnb in the heart of the city and near the sea costs over 200$ cdn per night.A good 3 star like the Maxim is much more as are the more luxurious hotels like the Hilton or Sheraton.Depends on what you want/need.The luxury hotels in Jerusalem like the Mamilla or Waldorf are out of sight.Unlike Tel Aviv there are many more reasonably priced boutique hotels like City Centre on King George.Good luck.Israel is great but pricy for even little things like restaurants,taxis and groceries.

    Hi Oren! How does the diamond district in Tel AViv compare with NYC?

  • @franklenihan
    @franklenihan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi Oren...I would love for you to do a video of navigating the main bus terminals in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Including how you get a bus ticket, how you read the bus charts, what to expect on the bus, as well as how to access the train in Jerusalem, and perhaps how to use the train from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. If I have a free day in Jerusalem I would like to use the public transportation but it would be nice to know how to do that. I know that the Bus Terminals can be a bit overwhelming for those of us who do not speak or read Hebrew.

      I will start making videos about transportation. You are absolutely right.

    If you stay in a hostel will they hold your bags for you or do you have to keep them on you? Not sure how that works - it’s been a while since I travelled anywhere!

    Any good hostels or hotels at the Ben Yehuda str ? And, which one to avoid?

    • @Travelingisraelinfo
      @Travelingisraelinfo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are no hostels in Tel Aviv I would say you need to avoid, some are cleaner some with more of a young and party crowd, but all are good.

    any comments on Publica Isrotel, Autograph Collection? Is location good for tourists? the address is 9 Aba Even Street

      From what I can tell it's near Maskit street, which is a major restaurants area. I've only been into that region a handfull of times, and each time I was there for a specific reason. The beach area, like Tel Aviv is enjoyable- but that's about it...
