- In this video, we are going to take look at Now TV, taking a dive into what it offers and the costs involved to find out if it is worth having and is it worth the price? Very recently, Now TV rebranded as simply NOW, dropping the TV part and changing its look.
First of all, if you aren’t already aware, Now is a subscription service, operated by Sky, and is effectively, Sky TV without the need for a satellite or any installations. All you need is the Now app that is available on over 60 devices.
Now is available in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy and offers live TV and video on demand without any contracts. You can pick and choose the type of content you want to see and only pay for what you want on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled at any time.
You can do this by purchasing memberships in 5 main categories. Entertainment, Cinema, Kids, Sports and hayu.

Hi there thanks for posting. Really helpful. I browsed different companies and now seemed the best for what we want so have joined .because our tv is a toshiba it wont have the now app so they have advised we buy an Amazon tv fire stick which we will be doing so can watch everything on the big tv screen. Theres a few different fire sticks with amazon.any advice please?

Good video Tanya have used Now TV for sports day pass in the past but have not used it for a long while.
The day pass is super duper expensive, but I can totally understand if there is a major sporting event you don't want to miss and you want to make sure you get to watch it without interruptions. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

Hi Tanya I had sky tv for years but got rid of sky in favour of streaming with android box and firestick I think now tv looks cool but I will keep using kodi and hd cinema teatv they are all free have a great weekend and keep up the good work

Tanya i have brought the sky sports membership only because i was fed up of using 3rd party apps and the apps not working on my firestick, i watch f1, darts, cricket so if you want to watch more than 1 sport then the sports membership is a good way of watching sports Neil

I need an option for my 85 y/o football and snooker loving technophobe Mother. I wanted Virgin for the ease of one remote control and just 101, 102, 103, 601,602 etc.. sadly Virgin is not available in her postcode. The issue is I can buy her a new TV, I can have broadband installed, I can then buy a firestick and sign up to NOW..... but if she doesn't get on with 2 remotes (likely) and lots of clicking then we've had a fair bit of expense with TV & Broadband.... dilemma dilemma - any thoughts that might assist?
With most new TVs, it's possible that the TV remote can also be used to control the Firestick. However, if your TV is a Smart TV, you may have access to apps directly on the TV without the need for a Firestick. I suggest doing some research on Smart TVs and exploring the available apps. Hello I would like to know if now tv will work with a VPN and if the VPN has to be set for unite kingdown??
I imagine that is possible but I am not sure which VPNs will work unfortunately. Also, as the service is in the UK you would need a payment method registered to an address in the UK. You might be able to use something like this www.smartdnsproxy.com/ to get around the geo-restriction but I'm not sure about getting around the payment method sorry.

Free trials aren’t available with a Sports Month Membership, but you can join for a day with a Sports Day Membership (one-off price of £11.99).
