I lived in Nebraska for 30 years, moved away 5 years ago. This is the first time in over 20 years I was excited for this team before they played their first game. I haven’t regularly watched Husker games in 15 years. I haven’t felt this energy since the 90s and it has me watching games every week again. I’m not saying this team is the ‘95 Huskers or suggesting they’re going to the playoffs. I am saying this team has an energy that’s exciting. It seems everyone’s feeling the same. The game is only better for everyone in the country when the schools with storied tradition are playing well.
A lot of me thinks we been holding the playbook back on offense and now big ten play were really gonna go full go offensively
Have they won a title ? Have they won the big 10 ? If the answer to either of those questions is no then they’re not back. Nebraska is a top 10 all time program titles are the expectation and if they aren’t winning those people won’t be satisfied.

Everyone on their schedule so far.
All while looking good doing so by controlling the game & limiting penalties and turnovers which has crippled this team in the last 10 seasons.

first 4 games were against teams that went combined 18-26 last season and all games at home. Yet the baby reds couldn't even win all 4. Good thing they lost so recruits wouldn't get sold false promises. GO BUCKEYS!!!!
If they win they will come. If they don't come as much as the GAs and OSUs, they will develop. And they will once again win games they shouldn't on paper. That's all Nebraska fans ask.
