Blessed as hell to watch this man’s rise.. it feels like a true privilege to exist at this time in music.. I just listened to this song for the first time ever and it has truly struck something deep within me. I've always been the type of person to have a plan and want to do something with my life but never go through with it or work towards it. But recently in the past few months I've been trying to do better, be better, and just generally become the person younger me would have wanted me to be. I've experienced so much hurt and loss in 2023 and at the start of 24 things happen which made me fear I would relasps into the person I fear I'll forever be . But hearing this song made me realize that I shouldn't let bad things ruin me anymore. That even though I'm having a bad day or something it hope for didn't happen I'm still here and I will always be able to fix my wrongs and change for the better. I'm 19 years old and I've have already done so much that my parents couldn't do at my age I should be proud of myself and use these wins as a way to boost myself to greatness. (Sorry if this made no sense..)

Best song of 2022 and this decade for me so far.
Something about this hits me like a rush of water pushing me into a state of joy as I am caught up in the beauty of the current. All the little eccentricities and nuance in my life becomes the waves. This is probably one of the most unique artist introductions I've ever had. The thumbnail alone was enough to sweep me in, but watching the full on thing was an experience on its own. Fist of all, the visuals? Incredible. Funny enough I ended up watching it on MUTE the first time. (had to turn my speaker volume up ), but was so captivated by the visual artistry that before I could even turn it up I just let it play out all the way through on mute. By the time it ended I so invested, and intrigue had built up so much so that I had to play it again. This time, sound ON. Praying that it didn't suck, ruining the beauty of this master piece of a video ...... ya'll I pressed play....and...Oh my Gosh..........it-...i jus--.....it was just better than ANYTHING I could have ever imagined. MORE beautiful than the visuals them selves. Pure ARTISTY. This is some of the dopest , finest mixed up, meshed together so perfectly, musical art I've seen, heard or felt. Hooked. Immediately want to see more from this guy, and kudos to the team and every creative mind that came together to make this beautiful thing. Lmao even the Deer. 😂

not enough people talking about these visuals for me. the way that the claustrophobic rocking of the car mimicks the soft churn of a ship at sea, the cross of speakers connected to one of the most fascinating depictions of a crown of thorns i've ever seen, the haziness of it all as it cuts back and forth between reversed footage and incredibly tight shots to disorient you. the fact that the spectre of death seems to be the person striking the chord that sets off the stressed out, intense chorus.
it has this really strong feeling of warm memories, of community and camaraderie found during a period of hardship. a kind of modern day lost boys feeling.
