Perfect on Math and Grammar, but for some reason got killed with 7-25 in the video. I'm going to watch the 1:30 video on that and hopefully I can lock in.
Hey i wanna say you're absolutely amazing and doing a great job. I resent that i found you just 2 days before my test. I havent done much full length practice tests but a lot on khan acad and youtube videos and learnt strategies. This is my first and final chance at SAT. Pray for me and do you think i can do it?
at 54:20 can you just set up D=M/s^3 because you know the volume of a cube is equal to s^3 and then solve to isolate s? thats what I did and i got the same answer
-2 is MORE than -3, so it is not in that interval. (Them sneaky negatives). I am assuming that's what you mean? Thanks for joining the Fancy Pants Students, btw!
Hi, I’m a bit confused as to why it’s A and not B. I had the same inference as you when I thought it was B, but why is A more right? Since there wasn’t elimination for this timestamp I was a bit confused… 20:50
it is stated that thc will be operational for 30 more years ,and observes the solar system and objects outside the solar system, while the new telescope only observes object within the solar system. It is too strong to infer that it will no longer be used to observe the solar system
I don't think so. When 5 and 6 first came out, they better represented the official exams, but 1-4 have been updated since then. Things were just a bit shaky at the start of the year since they had just switched to digital.
hello!! sorry to bother you but i dont understand how D is the answer at 11:29 because how does the text talk about FACTORS influencing their fashion choices
"Factor" is a versatile term, and in this context, it refers to the balance between physical demands and societal ideals of femininity. The correct answer is D because it captures the study’s focus on those influences. Hope this clears it up! 😊
There was a very short period of time in which 5 & 6 were more accurate, but College Board modified the others. It has always been their aim for ALL of those practice exams to be authentic. Don't waste your energy worrying about it.
Hello, I am a bit stuck on the 37:00 question with Alan. Why isn’t the slope 25/4. I understand that we are trying to find how many fewer miles he drives and hence =5 but the slope isn’t intuitive… Also, thank you for your videos! However, because of you my screen time increased way too much 😂(they are very helpful)
I appreciate the kind words. One thing that I find really helps with linear word problems is remembering rise over run. The numerator of the slope is always related to the y-value (rise). Since our y-value is in dollars ($5), our numerator should also be dollars. Likewise, the denominator (run) is always related to the x-value, which in this case we know is miles. Does that make sense?
Hi, I think that at minute 49:19, you solved the problem wrong. It says that the percent increase from 2012 to 2013 would be "double" the percent increase from 2013 to 2014. This means that the percent increase from 2013 to 2014 would be a half of the increase from 2012 to 2013. Am I right, or didn't I understand the question correctly?
Yeah ur right, and he actually solved the problem correctly. 1% of 5600 is 56, and the difference between 5880 and 5600 is 280, so 280/56=5 (which is the percent increase). According to the problem, the percent increase from 2013 to 2014 is half of the 5% increase, therefore the increase would be 2.5%. 5880x1.025=6027
I did practice 1 and got a 1550. Do you think this could reflect my score on the real test, or can i expect a +- 100 point up/down (I got most of question right in the video except for 5-6 total)
I've worked with hundreds of students, and I have seen it go both ways. Some students really bring their all and are lackluster for practice exams, but others get anxious and underperform. In general though, students tend to get within 30 or so points in either direction.
According to my college advisor (Chat GPT ... 🤓): A 1460 SAT score is strong and places you within or near the middle 50% range for the universities you're considering: Wake Forest University: The middle 50% SAT range for admitted students is approximately 1410-1500. COLLEGE TRANSITIONS University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC): The middle 50% SAT range is about 1330-1500. SOCRATIC SUMMER ACADEMY Boston University (BU): The middle 50% SAT range is around 1420-1540. SOCRATIC SUMMER ACADEMY
im taking the SAT tomorrow and this really helps. thanks a lot man
Glad it helped!
Great format, all the best
Thank you! You too!
i am taking the test on the 7th this was very helpful
So glad to hear it!
How'd it go?
this's been helpful so far thank you
Awesome, glad it helped!
Thank you so much 🎉
You’re welcome 😊

Nice! Just keep at it!

We gonna pierce through the SAT, must keep our mind be positive 🎉
Yes, and you got this!
What's your goal score?
@@chemist_biologist 1500 or more
Sir!!! Thank you so much sir!!!!
Most welcome!
you saved my life
Glad to hear it!

I think you just answered your own question.😉
Hi, I do not understand why in minute 44:10 A. is not the answer the x-coordinate -2 is in that interval and also in the second interval.
-2 is MORE than -3, so it is not in that interval. (Them sneaky negatives). I am assuming that's what you mean?

I've the same question.
A and B are almost similar. But, I think the phrase "will no longer be used" is too strong to infer.
i have the same question
it is stated that thc will be operational for 30 more years ,and observes the solar system and objects outside the solar system, while the new telescope only observes object within the solar system. It is too strong to infer that it will no longer be used to observe the solar system
Like a couple others have said already, B is too extreme, whereas A has the hedging language "likely."
thank youuuuu!!!!!!!
No problem at all! Thanks for watching! 🙌
What do you think about the 6th sat practice isn’t it significantly hard than the previous ones
I don't think so. When 5 and 6 first came out, they better represented the official exams, but 1-4 have been updated since then. Things were just a bit shaky at the start of the year since they had just switched to digital.
"Power of the desmos BABY" it is my motivation😂

@@PenguinTestPrep oh that makes sense, thank you so much!!
Going into this test without a single practice test done :P
I hope these videos are helpful for you! You taking another exam in 2025?
Hi sir, which bluebook practice test would you say is most accurate in regards to the actual exam? Is Practice 4 an accurate measure?
There was a very short period of time in which 5 & 6 were more accurate, but College Board modified the others. It has always been their aim for ALL of those practice exams to be authentic. Don't waste your energy worrying about it.

It's a bit too late for me to make another video. Are you saying you already watched all 43 of my videos?

Hi sir, are these gonna help for the DSAT exam this 7th?
They are designed to do exactly that.
hey sir, r these questions from practice tests?
Nope-they're non-active questions from the question bank.

You understand the question, but I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that I solved it wrong. 2.5% is indeed half of 5%.
@ you squared the 5%, where it should’ve been split in half.
I most certainly did not.
