This journey might sound very mundane - the journey is from Katpadi Junction To Tirunelveli Junction on the 07435 Kacheguda - Nagercoil Junction Special Express Train. The train goes via Vellore Cant, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram Jn, Vriddhachalam Jn, Trichy Jn, Dindigul Jn, Madurai Jn and Virudhunagar Jn.
You might wonder what is special in this? This train operates using a Hybrid-LHB rake! Hybrid-LHB was a very short lasting experiment conducted by the Indian Railways. The original LHB coaches came with FIAT Bogies - and these bogies costed a lot of money. In order to reduce cost, the railways built a series of coaches with LHB Shell and the old ICF Bogies. Such coaches were called as "Hybrid LHB". These shells offered the features and facilities of an LHB coach.
This experiment was short lasting since these coaches had oscillation issues and created speed restrictions. Such coaches are not being built anymore.

Ariyalur is known for cluster of cement factories. Srirangam is surrounded by two rivers Kaveri and Kollidam. It is a river island. DEMU s are replaced by MEMUs.

Aruyalur is mfamour for Shiva Temple under ASI know Gangai Kanda Chozhapuram. Almost same to Brahadeshwarar temple in Tanjore. Mr. Binai Sankar your videos and your narration is worth seeing/listening. There i is another Video Railway Video from Railwasy Getaway. No narration only visuals and name of places and stations. Keep it up.
With respect to Dindigul in evening and late evening it will be deserted towards south but in reverse, the action starts from 19.30 hrs till mid night
Again from 23.30 onwards towards south very busy till 4.05 am when ms mdu pandian departs
The Palar river finds its origin around the Nandi Hills near Bengaluru and meanders its way through South East Karnataka and across the Arcots and finally empties in the Bay of Bengal.
Katpadi is one of the major stations where one gets to see the freighters speeding through the mainline while passenger trains crawl in and out of platforms!! I used to enjoy that sight of speeding (even if it was 30-40kmph) freighters while waiting for kovai express!
There is a thumbs up hill near Panvel ( Karnala fort) on the Central Railway leading to Konkan railway on the Pavnel - Roha route.

Thanks for taking efforts to show the Hybrid LHB, never heard of this. While ICF bogies were dominating SR, first we heard CBC rakes for CAPE-MS express, which is famous for its sleep killing jolt. Good that IR did not continue on this less efficient interbreed coaches. When time permits, please provide a video with technical details of the various coaches in IR. So many variants, like GR, Tejas, VB, LHB, ICF, Hybrid-ICF, EMU, DEMU, MEMU... sleeper/chair car/recently learned, there is a GR chair car with 6 seats per row, instead of 5... etc,

WAG9 is fit for 100kmph.
Atleast they should give wap4 for special trains not wag9 wap4 has capability to run upto 140kph
WAP4 is not allowed to operate beyond 110kmph. Testing speeds ate largely different from operational speeds. Passenger locos have fixed links and hence sparing them for coaching specials are not always possible.
