    In this video Paul Andersen explains how air pollution is any chemicals in the atmosphere that negatively affect human health. Primary pollutants (like CO, VOCs, NOx, SO2, PM, and Lead) as well as secondary pollutants (like Ozone, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid) are included. Regulation of air pollution and technology can mediate the health threat.

    There are about 40 or 30 questions on the AP test about pollution, according to my APES teacher. You know what to mainly study now: you're goal is a 60%. You're welcome and May the 5th be with you (yes I know May the 4th was yesterday but today is the 5th), Happy Cinco de Mayo. (:

    Another fantastic video!! Subjects that you choose for your videos are AWESOME!!! You surprise me every time!! You are talking about really fantastic and yet ordinary things from every day life. These are the things that many people should know about. Or some of us wanted to know but we couldn`t find anybody to explain us. Well unless somebody is studing this on college but for us who haven`t study that we don`t know a thing about it. And you explain it in such a great way!! Scientific but yet so easy to understand even those who don`t know anything about science. Luckily I do but many friends of mine don`t so they are very appreciate for your videos. No one on You Tube or anywhere does the videos that you do! So thank you so much for making them! I wish you happy New Year and all the best in 2016! I am looking forward for more new and exciting videos in new year. Big greetings form Serbia and happy holidays!! :)

    • @Tanya-lk9eq
      @Tanya-lk9eq 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely yes, many people are moving towards veganism (or at the very least, reducing their consumption of animal products) for environmental reasons, as well as ethical and health reasons. The IPCC report recently expressed that we NEED to stop, and so has David Attenborough.

    • @smexyangelmike3117
      @smexyangelmike3117 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Raising animals on farms and killing them produces a lot of pollution for it takes a lot of energy to farm all these animals. Their manure can be piled up, releasing large amounts of toxic methane into the atmosphere.

    Ozone invariably appears to oxidise atmospheric pollutants usually sourced by man-made, plant or volcanic activities If atmospheric oxidation did not take place, naturally, would we not soon be overwhelmed in a soup of foul chemicals....
    I tend to agree with scientists who see ozone as having at least two essential atmospheric functions: 1. Stratospheric cosmic ray filtration. 2. Tropospheric oxidation of airborne pollutants.
    Surely the alternative is akin to blaming municipal firemen for always turning up at domestic fires. Or am I missing something?
    Leaves me wondering, why the scientific 'consensus' represented in this video, terms a natural atmospheric/ solar reaction as a "contributor to pollution" and not just as the easiest gas to measure a yardstick for industrial and other commonly occurring pollutants; not the cause but rather an after effect of UV radiation on a cloud of pollution.
