I would like to add a side note to the kits for duels All the kits which require you to collect things around the map(beekeeper, metal, sheep herder and as DV said, eldertree) are good on duels map because theres only a small space for the stuff to spawn meaning you can get more loot in duels than in doubles and solos. Example: metal detector can get more collects to spawn+they're really easy to get. I hope this helped you guys

Im gonna be counting kits not in the game anymore btw #10: ElderTree #9: Metal Detector #8: Axolotl Amy #7: Grim Reaper #6: Cobalt #5: Zephyr #4: Yuzi #3-2. Hannah and Evelynn. They are in the same rank due to me being half and half between these two as a person who switches between them. #1: kaliyah. imo even after the nerfs, this kit is still busted for these types modes . Miner kit is actually a very good alternative kit to lucia, with the buffs. How it works is if your ennemy has like no armor, you will get like 60 iron. But if they have like full emerald, you will get like 20 emeralds and 15 diamonds, but 6 iron. So its better for late game i would say, it transfers well into mid/late game.
I would put zephyr a little higher as yes, you need kills and there is a timer till it goes but if you use it correctly, you can 1v4 people even if they outgear you, if you have damage tier it increases the feather damage doing nearly 20 extra damage to a diamond armour!
Me and one of my friends found a really good kit for duos. It Melody. When me and him were just spamming between attacks and melody we couldn't die. It was even better when you got the 40% healing relic and it would heal for like 31 health.
I would also like to see my personal piont of view is that, cobalt can beat Hannah because quickly obtaining the batteries will stop them from being able to insta kill you, and cobalt I can beat Evelyn (even before the nerf). Also a downside to Evelyn and hannah is that you can fall in the void so sometimes it is risky to use , rest assured they are still amazing kits
When DV talks about countering cobalt, try getting them to overdrive as fast as possible and bow them during the shield. Overdrive lasts for a long time but cobalts cannot heal during the phase. Simply put, beat a cobalt when they are in overdrive and ran out of shield.
Honestly, I've beaten cobalts but never in early game solo. You can try going to mid before they rush you but without yuzi, it'll be impossible to get enough iron to get to mid and another base since the cobalt might be trying to chase you. But yeah, crossbow spamming is the best way to counter basically any kit
idk about elder tree, its probably good but you cant buy armor and your hitbox is huge prob good early game but if someone gets a crossbow late game then they could kill you i 100% agree with kaliyah, havent got it but 3 punches and you'll fall into the void, even with balloons since punching someone sets them on fire still good vid :D
TY for mentioning axolotl amy, i think amy is the most underrated kit in bedwars. i dont get why people dont use it, i use it pretty much everytime (not because i dont have any kits) besides ranked because everyone underestimates amy. about what you said amy being kinda bad in late game, its actually better late game with health axolotl u regen 30% of ur health, on top of that u have shield AND damage, if you and ur opponent has max sharpness, ur still gonna do more dmg than him, its pretty much a win everytime the only counter for amy i could think of is cobalt (maybe) and the new lvl 50 kit (forgot the name)
Me who's a grim reaper kit main: Wow I can't believe grim's on 10th, tbh I think grim works the best for me especially in solos as I often get into low hp situation but managed to clutch with the consume soul move so I would like to say it's more of the user's skill than the kit itself.
speakin of bounty hunter, if you have good rng and the grappling hook is in the shop, you can get it without going to mid (since it gives you so much ems, 99% 2 kills only) and also you can run forever
If ur like super skilled with Hannah u would keep ur distance from most Kaliyah’s until they are low enough and then assasinate the kaliyah players but I still kinda agree on ur opinion

Hannah has massive cons mostly when to excute its 20hp, to really worth it they should buff it to like 30 but 25 at least.. and the hp isnt even a change its like useless ;-;
I once had diamond sword and iron armor. I was fighting someone with stone sword and iron armor. But he had kaliyah and that explosive damage gave me a heart attack and I died, losing my stuff.
Honestly, he's way better to use in 30v30 because of a near guaranteed late game and most people would probably ignore you (then again there's trolls). Cyber, Beekeeper and Metal outclass him by a lot in my opinion. If he would get a (really deserving) buff then he might be on par with the kits I've mentioned
I'm suprised that Pyro nor did the Dragon make it. Pyro is just great, and the Dragon is literally the clutch god. (I kind of forgot the name it's Xu' rot or something)
I would say Evelyn is best for solos (for sweats). It is even better if you know how to use and combo with it, void teleport with it, etc. I use it all the time.

Dv try to use lumen and do simple strat: eliminate enemy that is next to u then get light sword and get max rqnge on someone who is trying to cross a bridge and boom ur op under 4 mins and i dont think there is anything that can counter lumen expect teleporting stuff
aery + baker is better than zephyr because zephyr loses it’s damage and speed but aery doesn’t lose butterflies ever, good combo for doubles if you go to mid for pies
I agree with everything but reaper. The only reason why I don’t like using reaper for modes is because Late game it has no advantage, and yuzi, once u use yuzi and a normal kit, you will realise the major difference of sword prices and how much they actually do affect ur gameplay
I like kits who usually don't force me to spend iron or resources for the item the only 1 in that category is probably archer for the lower price but other than that Evelyn trinity reaper do well and yuzi prices affects late game prices yuzi sucks when everyone has pearls so I doubt yuzi can clutch against billions of pearls
I think crocowolf should be here because if you leave your base someone might not know you're crocowolf and break the bed. or the enemy will purposely break your bed because they're losing the match and think to break bed before they die. The only problem is the bug where you don't shift if you're dead
Okay I agree with everything however the 2 tanks you mentioned both being Cobalt and Eldertree suffer from crossbow unless the Eldertree speedruns to emerald gear HP and the cobalt getting diamond gear with max protection
Bro frieya is broken, Its pretty much THE COMBO KIT i beat a sweaty iron armor iron sword with wooden armor and. Stone sword. The freeze kinda decrease the range with the speed so I just circle them and destroy them. You can sometimes still get the freeze in the spectator block. It isnt the best but it is one of the best kit and the number 1 underrated
In duels elder tree has to be the best kit! Mainly because you do y have to buy armour and can get over 150 health in 2 seconds. I once go a 90 streak with this strategy! I lost it… But the I got a 74 streak. Though I lost that one too…
dv tysm i have almost all the kits and cant even get a 5 win streak the most I got was 4 with yuzi and eve but thats all ngl I ever got em armour in solos- with luci ofc but like its not the best with time it took almost 20 mins just to get the armour and uhhh I don't have grim sadly- legit agree abt zephyr I have him but the fact that the wind stack decaying is just smh and the problem with killing the guys with stacks is actually hard 4 me ofc
I can give you some tips to get emerald armor easier as somebody who loves turtling ever since the game got released. Despite me being a free to play, I can get emerald armor within maybe 15-25 minutes depending on the round (assuming this is solos). So as I've mentioned, I'm free to play so take this with a grain of salt. Obviously the quickest way I get emerald armor is by camping mid or players with bounty hunter but I've gotten out of that strategy because it can be unreliable at points. I've opted to simply getting rid of the person next to me then getting diamond generator, team one, team two, diamond generator two, team three then waiting. You can do that easier since you own Lucia, I recommend either prioritizing either tier three or enchants, but of course get team one and diamond gen one first and maybe team two. If you've decided to go enchants then just do basics, fire one will be good enough, then either a bow/crossbow or some snowballs (Btw, ember's anguish can be good but there's some other relics I'd rather have since fire one is more reliable) then get candy, get a tier three gen, try to get some more candy but if you're not feeling too safe you can either leave the base or try staying, no point in fighting once you have 20-30 emeralds since all you have to do is wait a while (get teslas if you're planning to defend then block them up with either stone, wood or wool, I recommend wool though). But whatever you do try not to spend your emeralds on balloons, pearls nor an emerald sword if you aren't targeted much (so don't snowball spam somebody too much, they might get annoyed). If you are not feeling safe, then go ahead but think a little if you have 30 emeralds since a little waiting and you can get your last 10. I am stating once again that I do not own Lucia so don't trust my strategy fully, I'm only saying this since this is what I do, but with spirit catcher so I'm hoping it works as well as, or better with Lucia.
To everyone who has trouble facing a maxed out amy, lifesteal or fire enchants are a hard counter but you will have to do a few maneuvers to win the fight.

My rankings: #10: Zephyr Advantages: It is a really good kit for solos because you can just spawn camp for 5 stacks and then just finish them off and move to the next opponent. It is a 0 kit, so it doesn't cost anything except some kills. Disadvantages: If you aren't good at pvp, you are pretty much kitless because you are gonna be dying alot. It has a 55 second timer until all ur stacks reset. 7/10 #9: Metal Detector Advantages: You can get 1 pearl early game and go to mid and it's game over. You can get armor before the other opponent even gets a chance to bridge to you. Disadvantages: It is super luck based, most of the time you get 1 emerald every like 5 treasures. 7/10 #8: Nyx Advantages: You can easily wipe people. It is simple to get to midnight mode if you are good at pvp. It can do insane damage. Disadvantages: If you are bad at pvp, you might die alot and not be able to use ur ability. 8/10 #7: Evelynn Advantages: you can outplay people. You can deal a little bit of damage. You get a little shield. Disadvantages: Everyone uses it. It is easy to teleport into the void by accident. 8/10 #6: Elder Tree Advantages: You can get 150 health at the start of the game which is basically leather armor. You can wipe full squads. Disadvantages: Late game elder trees get shreded in like 2 seconds. Yuzi can easily beat an elder tree. Hitbox increases. Elder tree gets bigger so you might not be able to fit in bases. 8.1/10 #5: Axolotl Amy Advantages: You can get shield + damage axolotl and it is ggs. Good for early and mid game. Healing axolotl can be good. Disadvantages: Break speed axolotl wastes ems. Bad for late game. 8.5/10 #4: Cobalt Advantages: You can get extra speed and damage and a little shield for pvp. Disadvantages: You can't pick up anymore batteries once you are in your form which can lead you to fast death. Alot of people use it. 9/10 #3: Hannah Advantages: You can clutch with it sometimes. It can easily kill an elder tree if it is 25% health, so if elder tree has 1k health and it gets down to 250, hannah can do the job. Disadvantages: The range isn't that good. A yuzi can easily run away if they are low. You have a chance to fall in the void with it. 9.5/10 #2: Kaliyah Advantages: You can punch people in the void. They can die from 3 ways. Easy to wipe teams. Disadvantages: It only does damage. It is a bit overrated. 9.8/10 #1: Yuzi Advantages: You can run away if you are low from pretty much any kit. You can actually go way further than you think. Easy to outplay people. Makes telepearl clutches easier because more reaction time. Disadvantages: Lassy can make the dao be disabled for 7 seconds. Speed beats dashes. You have to carefully use dashes. Easiest kit to fall into the void with. 9.85/10 This is my rating for how good these are in solos, not in general.
I have a question as a free to play. About Amy, how is she that bad in late game? She gets extra, shield, damage and immediate regen and you can try stalling your enemy if you're low to get your regen and shield again. I know she was free once or twice (can't remember) but I never really got to experience her since I wasn't able to play much at the time. The reason I'm asking this is because I find her slightly harder to kill, but that might be because I only use either spirit catcher or jade.

I used to main metal detector back in season 4 - 5, but the season 6 nerfs make it harder to get dims and ems for dim sword. Now I just play evelynn

Tip:if you are in first mode dont shake your screen because your body doesnt move if others see you

aery + baker is better than zephyr because zephyr loses it’s damage and speed but aery doesn’t lose butterflies ever, good combo for doubles if you go to mid for pies

I agree with everything but reaper. The only reason why I don’t like using reaper for modes is because Late game it has no advantage, and yuzi, once u use yuzi and a normal kit, you will realise the major difference of sword prices and how much they actually do affect ur gameplay
I like kits who usually don't force me to spend iron or resources for the item the only 1 in that category is probably archer for the lower price but other than that Evelyn trinity reaper do well and yuzi prices affects late game prices yuzi sucks when everyone has pearls so I doubt yuzi can clutch against billions of pearls

I think crocowolf should be here because if you leave your base someone might not know you're crocowolf and break the bed. or the enemy will purposely break your bed because they're losing the match and think to break bed before they die. The only problem is the bug where you don't shift if you're dead

Okay I agree with everything however the 2 tanks you mentioned both being Cobalt and Eldertree suffer from crossbow unless the Eldertree speedruns to emerald gear HP and the cobalt getting diamond gear with max protection

Bro frieya is broken, Its pretty much THE COMBO KIT i beat a sweaty iron armor iron sword with wooden armor and. Stone sword. The freeze kinda decrease the range with the speed so I just circle them and destroy them. You can sometimes still get the freeze in the spectator block. It isnt the best but it is one of the best kit and the number 1 underrated

In duels elder tree has to be the best kit! Mainly because you do y have to buy armour and can get over 150 health in 2 seconds. I once go a 90 streak with this strategy! I lost it… But the I got a 74 streak. Though I lost that one too…

legit agree abt zephyr I have him but the fact that the wind stack decaying is just smh and the problem with killing the guys with stacks is actually hard 4 me ofc
I can give you some tips to get emerald armor easier as somebody who loves turtling ever since the game got released. Despite me being a free to play, I can get emerald armor within maybe 15-25 minutes depending on the round (assuming this is solos). So as I've mentioned, I'm free to play so take this with a grain of salt. Obviously the quickest way I get emerald armor is by camping mid or players with bounty hunter but I've gotten out of that strategy because it can be unreliable at points. I've opted to simply getting rid of the person next to me then getting diamond generator, team one, team two, diamond generator two, team three then waiting. You can do that easier since you own Lucia, I recommend either prioritizing either tier three or enchants, but of course get team one and diamond gen one first and maybe team two. If you've decided to go enchants then just do basics, fire one will be good enough, then either a bow/crossbow or some snowballs (Btw, ember's anguish can be good but there's some other relics I'd rather have since fire one is more reliable) then get candy, get a tier three gen, try to get some more candy but if you're not feeling too safe you can either leave the base or try staying, no point in fighting once you have 20-30 emeralds since all you have to do is wait a while (get teslas if you're planning to defend then block them up with either stone, wood or wool, I recommend wool though). But whatever you do try not to spend your emeralds on balloons, pearls nor an emerald sword if you aren't targeted much (so don't snowball spam somebody too much, they might get annoyed). If you are not feeling safe, then go ahead but think a little if you have 30 emeralds since a little waiting and you can get your last 10. I am stating once again that I do not own Lucia so don't trust my strategy fully, I'm only saying this since this is what I do, but with spirit catcher so I'm hoping it works as well as, or better with Lucia.

To everyone who has trouble facing a maxed out amy, lifesteal or fire enchants are a hard counter but you will have to do a few maneuvers to win the fight.
Tbh gompy needs to be there,even if many people thinks its bad like you(on solos),it is actually stupidly overpowered if you learn how to use it

the one thing with jade and void is that u get anti cheat alot when ur using the hammer/axe

#10: Zephyr
Advantages: It is a really good kit for solos because you can just spawn camp for 5 stacks and then just finish them off and move to the next opponent. It is a 0 kit, so it doesn't cost anything except some kills.
Disadvantages: If you aren't good at pvp, you are pretty much kitless because you are gonna be dying alot. It has a 55 second timer until all ur stacks reset.

#9: Metal Detector
Advantages: You can get 1 pearl early game and go to mid and it's game over. You can get armor before the other opponent even gets a chance to bridge to you.
Disadvantages: It is super luck based, most of the time you get 1 emerald every like 5 treasures.

Advantages: You can easily wipe people. It is simple to get to midnight mode if you are good at pvp. It can do insane damage.
Disadvantages: If you are bad at pvp, you might die alot and not be able to use ur ability.

Advantages: you can outplay people. You can deal a little bit of damage. You get a little shield.
Disadvantages: Everyone uses it. It is easy to teleport into the void by accident.

#6: Elder Tree
Advantages: You can get 150 health at the start of the game which is basically leather armor. You can wipe full squads.
Disadvantages: Late game elder trees get shreded in like 2 seconds. Yuzi can easily beat an elder tree. Hitbox increases. Elder tree gets bigger so you might not be able to fit in bases.

#5: Axolotl Amy
Advantages: You can get shield + damage axolotl and it is ggs. Good for early and mid game. Healing axolotl can be good.
Disadvantages: Break speed axolotl wastes ems. Bad for late game.

Advantages: You can get extra speed and damage and a little shield for pvp.
Disadvantages: You can't pick up anymore batteries once you are in your form which can lead you to fast death. Alot of people use it.

#3: Hannah
Advantages: You can clutch with it sometimes. It can easily kill an elder tree if it is 25% health, so if elder tree has 1k health and it gets down to 250, hannah can do the job.
Disadvantages: The range isn't that good. A yuzi can easily run away if they are low. You have a chance to fall in the void with it.

#2: Kaliyah
Advantages: You can punch people in the void. They can die from 3 ways. Easy to wipe teams.
Disadvantages: It only does damage. It is a bit overrated.

Advantages: You can run away if you are low from pretty much any kit. You can actually go way further than you think. Easy to outplay people. Makes telepearl clutches easier because more reaction time.
Disadvantages: Lassy can make the dao be disabled for 7 seconds. Speed beats dashes. You have to carefully use dashes. Easiest kit to fall into the void with.

I have a question as a free to play. About Amy, how is she that bad in late game? She gets extra, shield, damage and immediate regen and you can try stalling your enemy if you're low to get your regen and shield again. I know she was free once or twice (can't remember) but I never really got to experience her since I wasn't able to play much at the time. The reason I'm asking this is because I find her slightly harder to kill, but that might be because I only use either spirit catcher or jade.

Hi DV! Im a really big fan since Islands! I really loved both games (Islands and Bedwars) and ur the best of out all the content creators I watch. I just really wanna ask a quick question. an hour after the comment u posted (pinned) Me and my friend tried to beat crypt's trials and won. He got the badge, and the title and emote. But for some reason, no matter how many times he rejoined, it still says he doesn't own the kit even if he clicked the 399 Robux button (He did it to clarify if it was a visual glitch or not). Anyways, thank you for reading my comment! Please tell me this will be patched next update. (For the badge, I have a suggestion for how the badge linked is with the kit. The game will infinetly check if the player owns the badge, if he/she does, then give the kit, if not, then don't. because how I understand how it works is that it will only execute the code that gives thekit once you get the badge, and if there was a glitch, u don't get it.) Hope this reaches the devs. Thank you! (I got the kit yesterday when it still gave the kit.) :)
