Uber: I like a chalenge in my games Game: *Is challenging* Uber: After cursing the game developers with voodoo black magic i continued my quest to finish the main story
Either i am a witcher 3 god (which i am not) or i may have unlocked the quest by the time I was lvl 4 and played it when i was lvl 15 or something, because i had a really pleasant experience with that quest. Plus i didn't play on deathmarch on my first playthrough. Werewolves are tough motherfuckers. You gotta moon bomb them at the exact time to stop them from starting regenerating. Broaded arrows are your friend, poison is your friend, QUEN IS YOUR FREIND. But it's definately a brain vs brawn when it comes to werewolves.
To be fair, the game isn't really that hard. Even on death march, as long as you keep spamming quen and don't fight enemies too high level for you, it's exceptionally hard to die
I've yet to playthrough one hand of qwent, completed main game n both dlc's though :-). The bomb called "moon dust" will allow you to disable the Werewolf regeneration allowing you to kill it even if underleveled. This also works with katakans you will meet later in the game.
@@DrnMontemayor Yup. I never bothered with bombs for disabling magic and regeneration, because signs work just as well, while being easier to use and not affecting my own use of signs. (and I think later on, you get an ability upgrade, that makes your oils poison your enemies, not just boost your damage against them) and fun fact: you get introduced to all that, in the tutorial with it's side-quests and main story (the use of yrden to deal with magical foes, the use of igni to deal with regeneration)

I hope raid shadow legends takes note with your ad. This is the first ad for the game I HAVENT skipped. Because you actually said stuff that sounded natural
@ahsan nawab it doesn't have a great dialogue... you're talking about a game that is universally acclaimed for its intricate storytelling and well-written plot. a game that is so rich in lore, the characters are stellar, if y'all don't enjoy complex narratives and stories that 'drag to an insane degree (???)' go and play minecraft, good lord.
ahsan nawab you're aware the DIALOGUE is part of the storytelling?!?! it's a component of the narrative. 'we hardly even interact with the main villain whose name is in the title'.. you fight the wild hunt the entire 3rd act of the story. typical pretentious gamer who wants to act as if a game being critically acclaimed is just because it's mainstream. the richness of the story, the ramifications of your actions, the grey morality that had me going back on certain quests a couple times and i still didn't know whether i made the right choice or not. the way the story branches and how well fleshed even the smallest npcs are. the side quests, the books and documents you find, the attention to detail. if you find a game that has a well developed story that's not rushed mediocre, i'd love for you to point me a game that's better. i get some people enjoy going from point A to B with minimal dialogue, but this is a well fleshed out, immersive universe, what did you expect? and lastly, if the witcher characters talk like robots, i'm sorry, but you genuinely have to show me how people in the medieval times acted like in your opinion. if you feel that's robotic, i genuinely feel that's only a you problem
@ahsan nawab it was a natural progression? what did you think was 'dragged'? you steadily retrace his footsteps and you made a plan to free him? what did you want to happen? you randomly find a beggar and he tells you dandelion is in temple isle? and you just magically waltz in and get him out? the progression felt natural, you start from knowing nothing about his whereabouts, investigate and then make a viable plan to free him. the pacing's not bad. it's not up to your preference, you might like faster paced games and again, that's your preference, but objectively witcher's narrative is critically acclaimed.

I recommend people starting on easiest difficulty until they master the game’s mechanics. It’s not that the game is inherently unfair or poorly designed but there is a substantial learning curve. Preparing for every fight is essential which can be a little tedious but it’s so rewarding when you get right. Also creating a good build can be confusing at first until you find a play style that works for you

I knew exactly where the introduction of gwent was going. But I wasn't dissapointed by a raid ad for once. Actually playing the game before you make an ad for it is such a revolutionary concept I don't understand why we haven't been doing it for years.
I’ve played Witcher 3 about five different times on console when it first came out had 800hrs and every play through I’d find something new and have a different experience. Just started playing it again on PC and I’m already hooked again.
So he basically played 3 hours, made 2½ missions, knows virtually nothing about the plot and he doubt that the game is the game of the decade? And tries to prove it by spamming the A button at a unimportant Npc?
@ahsan nawab combat isn't everything I disagree that this is the game of the decade as well but story and gameplay are equal grounds a game can be great without a story (doom) a game can be good without gameplay (visual novels interactive movies)
@ahsan nawab basically story nobody considers the mechanics to be godly but they do consider the story, characters, rpg elements godly I disagree but that's why this game is liked so much
@@kbzoncapo777 Idk man... I stared on death March, and once I had masterd the combat, I thought everything was quite easy. I don't think I even needed more than 1 try for even most bosses, and I would sometimes even fight enemies with skull marks instead of level indicators that I stumbled across and win. It takes a while, but as long as you keep dodging and play it safe, it's actually quite easy to not get hit even once while learning their attack patterns and chipping away at their health. I am a darksouls player tho, so.maybe I'm just used to playing like that. Only enemy I ever had real problems with is the jihn, as it insterkills you no matter what you do/have, all his attacks are AOE and there is no f-ing room on that deck. A couple of simple things to pay attention at first: -Having coin at first is important for repairs and upgrades, find a lv 4 silver sword and you can deal with the werewolf quest easily. -Get the brown talents that allow you to use adrenaline points for spells and the one that makes your food regen you for 20 minutes. (the adrenaline talent will also allow you to stunlock most bosses with the blast spell after you've been fighting them a while) -Always have quen up in fights. -Generally spam dodge, not roll, you can even upgrade it for it to be fully invincible later on in the red talents. -Delusion lv 3 is just a great time saver in side quests, even if a bit useless at first. -Potions refill with alcohol when you meditate, so you dont need to craft them over and over. -Oils are of infinite use, they just need to be reapplied to the blade often. I spent 40 hours on that side quest because I thought I wasnt good enough
@Stefos Stef That quest is great but it was some sadistic fuck who decided it should be given to low level players with no guidance at all.
To be fair, the game isn't really that hard. Even on death march, as long as you keep spamming quen and don't fight enemies too high level for you, it's exceptionally hard to die
To be honest, in normal difficulty the wicher is very easy

The bomb called "moon dust" will allow you to disable the Werewolf regeneration allowing you to kill it even if underleveled. This also works with katakans you will meet later in the game.

@@DrnMontemayor Yup. I never bothered with bombs for disabling magic and regeneration, because signs work just as well, while being easier to use and not affecting my own use of signs. (one bomb leaves a cloud that disables magic.. and that includes your own).
Yrden on the ground, igni to the face... and all your problems are solved. (and I think later on, you get an ability upgrade, that makes your oils poison your enemies, not just boost your damage against them)

@@jonathan13co I don't get why everyone always mentions the rat upscaling thing, I just did the sewer rat section with upscaling on to test it at level 61 on Death March and it was pretty easy, they die in 3-4 hits and you can just keep sidehopping to not get swarmed, if you have the superior sign potion you can also burn all of them with igni so they don't even move, I think its pretty far fetched to call something a bug just because you can't think of a solution to the challenge

@ahsan nawab It doesn't drag out. You just have low attention span.
ahsan nawab you're aware the DIALOGUE is part of the storytelling?!?! it's a component of the narrative.
I'm calling it. Uber, Sseth and Mandalore are 3 different personalities from a shizophrenic.

I'd say why bother playing video games when you can just watch movies but new movies nowadays kinda suck too.
I recommend people starting on easiest difficulty until they master the game’s mechanics. It’s not that the game is inherently unfair or poorly designed but there is a substantial learning curve. Preparing for every fight is essential which can be a little tedious but it’s so rewarding when you get right. Also creating a good build can be confusing at first until you find a play style that works for you
Yeah idk about that my first playthrough i was legit lvl 10 at late novigrad on death march i was downright pathetic tbh and it still wasn’t that hard in all honesty oh and i didn’t figure out u can make bombs and potions until like skellige
I recommend people starting on easiest difficulty so that they can get through the repetitive combat, molasses controls, and tedious side quests as fast as possible and get to the actually VERY well made stuff, like the story, characters, lore, and of course, Gwent.

If that's all he could focus on then it pretty much means everything else is perfect.
Good points from both of you. It just felt to me that he’s holding the game to a higher standard than others for some reason
@@jonathanc3001 I agree, but I have no idea what his standard is compared to. Besides, he has not completed the game, nor it's DLC's so it shouldn't be taken as a full review. I do have to take into account that I have never come across this channel before, so I have no clue if he acts like this across his normal videos. However, it is refreshing to see somone who doesn't blindly hop onto the bandwagon of "it's the greatest game ever" since that is a bold statement, all be it a fairly truthful one.
You guys are such fan boys, this game is very good but its riddled with bugs and shotty mechanics which most definetly doesn't make it the game of the decade. The only thing that actually deserves that title is the story telling, but there are even better stories than this one in video games.

Take a joke, this is obviously a meme
@ahsan nawab combat isn't everything I disagree that this is the game of the decade as well but story and gameplay are equal grounds a game can be great without a story (doom) a game can be good without gameplay (visual novels interactive movies)
@ahsan nawab basically story nobody considers the mechanics to be godly but they do consider the story, characters, rpg elements godly I disagree but that's why this game is liked so much

A couple of simple things to pay attention at first:
-Having coin at first is important for repairs and upgrades, find a lv 4 silver sword and you can deal with the werewolf quest easily.
-Get the brown talents that allow you to use adrenaline points for spells and the one that makes your food regen you for 20 minutes.
(the adrenaline talent will also allow you to stunlock most bosses with the blast spell after you've been fighting them a while)
-Always have quen up in fights.
Hopefully this helps you have a smoother experience overall :D
