It’s beginning to look like the twins are starting to dislike being filmed at times. I hope this gets honored. Of course we all love to see their progress, but not at the cost of them missing out on privacy like many teens want and need.
We have a running agreement that whenever there's something they don't want on Life in Japan, they just say so and it's no problem. There are times when they say "Please don't put that on Life in Japan." And so there's a number of things you don't end up seeing! There are other things they are like "You've got to put this in Life in Japan!" and it often goes in :)
Thank you all for sharing your lives with us all! I found your channel during 2020 while stuck at home and it has brought me so much joy. I look forward to every Friday morning when I can sit down with a cup of coffee and catch up with the Reutters. Wishing you all the very best from Minnesota!
Hello! as always i enjoy all your videos and I can relate to your situation with the twins, I have 2 daughters 1 just turned 15 and the other is 12 and you probably heard this words from the twins “Dad-Mom we want to have our privacy”. This is when you realized that they are no longer little kids anymore and they are growing up. You have a beautiful family keep doing a good work. GOD Willing i hope in a not so distant future my family and i could travel to Japan and meet you all at Paz church GOD BLESS YOU.
Thanks for sharing. I've enjoyed the video. Loved that you start the day by having devotional time with your family. Seems the teens wanted a break from camera, but I might be wrong.
So I just found this channel. All I have is appreciation and love!!! I am very interested in seeing all walks of life and this really struck a cool chord with me. I'm not religious but it was cool seeing how you fit your beliefs into daily life. Also, it's very cool seeing the linguistic aspects fit in. I'm an American guy, and ive always wondered how being bilingual fits into a different lifestyle to mine. This is just awesome all around. And im a sucker for good parenting. I would wish good things for you all, but I don't need to! You're all doing so well and I genuinely deep down believe goid things await the lot of you, despite the ups and downs that will arise off camera. Much love!
Such a good video. Been having. Rough morning and you guys put a smile on my face as ways. Spring Break starts for my kids today so we are excited for that!! 🎉
I’m glad you want to showcase your life in Japan & I’ve been really enjoying it❣️ it seems like the girls are hitting a age where they don’t want to be videotaped as much- I think it would be a great idea to communicate to set boundaries with them & respect their opinions🤍
We have all of those boundaries set - the girls get complete freedom to say "put this in" or "don't put this in." And they often say both! There's a number of things that don't end up in Life in Japan at their request. But there's a number of things that they ask to put into it too.
The last time Ruetter's parents came to Japan was four or five years ago, right? I remember Sarah-chan picking them up at the airport with Daddy. Grandmother liked "gyoza", right? Also, the video of you going to Harajuku, Omotesando and Kurazushi with your family and your parents really warmed my heart.✨☺️ I really sympathized with your words that happiness is overflowing in a casual daily life.🙏
Certainly, every ordinary day is happy, and when you understand that, you feel happy in nothing. Still, I envy you that the whole family is getting along and having a good time. 👍
I like watching your peaceful life. My daughter also student, so I spend weekdays similar with you. Chat, laugh, prepare for school, and say "Goodbye" We should take care of this usual life!!
Love your family and I’m watching from the USA. I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My hubby and I also read the Gospel in the morning ! I read the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon. My American husband read the New Testament and the Book of Mormon. We bless our food and we pray in the first day in the morning. You are teaching the most important thing which is we are and they are children of our Father in Heaven ( God ) We believe that His only begotten Son is Jesus Christ who sacrificed for us to take our sins. Love your family ❤🙏😊!
@@LIJ Yeah. I always loved the artwork mostly when I was a kid! I had a classmate in elementary school who always brought her huge Franklin collection and we would all borrow a book from her during reading time.
The secret of your success is obeying Deut 6:7. When you invite God's presence into your day you open the door to his blessings. Every Christian family should follow your example. I still remember my Dad tickling us kids. Ah memories.

@@LIJ I think the Japanese who are translating this video are aware. It is against the rules to jump up and down in high-rise buildings in Japan. The residents on the floor below you are suffering from a seismic intensity 6 quake. In order to jump, I recommend going to the park or returning to the previous house.
There are walking groups, but we live so close we don't need one! ha ha. Sarah's job with the Kotatsu is to keep it clean (because most of the mess is hers anyway)
Just curious, How come the kids can wear regular clothes to school an then other times they have to wear uniforms? Do they have special days they can wear regular clothes? I lived in Japan for a few years a long time ago an always thought they had to wear uniforms everyday. Thanks for sharing your family with us here on You Tube. I always look forward to Fridays so I can see them.
Are your twin going to any Juku (private school)? If not, why don't they join any Bukatsu (after-school activity)? It would become good memory of Japanese school later or you may be able to find any special ability that they live on.
@@ruthreutter8355 It's like typical Japanese anime but seems too much. But you can see each one's preference by which of twin chose which Bukatsu now, can't you?
Seems like the kids have lots or responsibilities. Did you have the same amount growing up? I know Japan runs people into the ground with work which is sad to see.
That's true that people can adapt anywhere to live. Even thou Japan is not a Christian country, you guys are living a truthful and faithful life. Even thou I sort of disagree with playing video games and liking pokemon, still, the way you teach kids about God, discipline them, and tell them how to live faithfully is amazing. Because many people become so religious and only live by the book, therefore they scare people away and make God look angry/religious. One smart guy once said, "Religion is opium for the nation, while faith is life." I started to believe in God at 16 years old, and until this day I always have God in my life, and able to enjoy it. Thank you for the content, and for being open about your faith. America, unfortunately, has forgotten God, and it becomes harder to sober up people because of all the propaganda about LGBT and abortions. Seeing your videos, makes me believe that hope is always a seed for victory.

家庭側の問題であっても、全て学校側へ丸投げの姿勢が多いです。となれば、責任の負担を少なくするように学校側も予備対策をします。
