It's called a GPU enablement kit and must be purchased separately (got mine on ebay : dell part # 0X7C1K) you will have to remove the motherboard tray and install it under it.
This server has been equipped with the GPU fan kit (part # 056F1p), which provide a lot more air flow going through the CPU heatsink AND across all 4 GPUs
Hi, I was considering replacing a Precision T7910 with a T630 like this one. I mostly run Linux (RHEL) but I sometimes boot Win 10 Pro to play a game or two. Did you have to do anything special to get Win10 Pro working on your T630?
Any ideas on why fans get too noisy? I just installed an Asus gtx1070 dual and that thing triggered all the fans to their max speed. There is no such a problem with temperature so I'm kinda confused.
@@Concomienzo It's just programmed that way. When it senses a certain draw of power (e.g. from the GPU) it speeds up the fans to prevent temperatures from going up. It thinks that the extra power is actually coming from the CPUs processing a lot higher cycles.
Where the crap did those power cords come from? I don't see them on mine

How is the T7910? I'm looking at getting one as a homelab but the T630 looks good too.
@Vincent Cojot : There's nothing special to make the T630 work under windows 10 (v2004 as i'm writing this). A piece of cake.
@@jacquotfabrice5986 Yes, I realized that. I've been dual-booting my T630 on Win10Pro (512gb, 32C/64T) for about a year.
Is the T630 very loud with the GPUs installed?
Yes, it sounds very loud.
@@다산데이타 Yes indeed : the regular 2 outtake fans are already loud, but you reach new heights with the 4 fans GPU fan kit : more like a small turbojet
