Great podcast girls, and I love how you use drops yarns a lot in your makes, as a new knitter it can be off putting when bloggers recommend expensive yarns, and you prove that good looking garments can be achieved, thank you.
Amazing podcast as always !! Glad everyone’s feeling better and let’s hope for a healthier year ahead. Tracy have to say Nanny would be sooo proud of all your creations and your love for knitting and crocheting, you have definitely taken on her role 🥰
Dear Tracy and Kristy, I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for all the joy you bring through your delightful knitting podcast! Your graciousness and humble approach truly resonate with me, and it’s clear how much you both love crafting and sharing your passion with your viewers. Your content hits the right spot every time! I’ve been so inspired by your creativity, particularly the lovely fingerless mittens you made for your boxing coach. I’m excited to say that I’m now making a pair for my husband, and I can’t wait to see how they turn out! And oh, the socks! Your sock-making adventures are just a joy to watch, and they’ve sparked a new love for sock knitting in me as well. Thank you for sharing your talent and enthusiasm; it really makes a difference in our crafting journeys. Keep up the amazing work, and know that you have a fan in me! Warmest wishes, ❤
Thank you so much Nessa! That's so kind of you. ☺️ I hope you enjoy making the mittens for your husband and that you have a great week! Thanks for spending time with us! 😁💕
LADIES! Every time I think you can't possibly top what you have done and every time you hit it out of the park!!! The variety of your skills is amazing. Thank you so much. Can't get enough of your podcasts. I watch them over again when it gets too long between. So, so much content.
I was so glad to see you girls. You both look well and happy, it must be all the yarny goodness you are surrounded with. Since watching you I use Drops alot, and I love it. Wow, you both had so many projects to show. I loved the Litmus Cowl and the scarf that you did (Kirsty) with the Stephen West pattern and your spun yarn, it was stunning. The mini hot water bottles were adorable. And your mitts were so pretty and perfect to use while knitting. Tracy, I loved the Ramona, it looked great on you too! The Friends Mitts were so good, they look like they came from a posh shop. The Sledding and Snowball Hat was beautiful. You girls both look great in hats. I loved the cowls they look so soft and warm. The Stripe Hype is going to be amazing. I am inspired to try it. Thank you for another lovely episode. You are both so fun to visit with, that's why you have 5,000 viewers🍾😄
Lovely to see you and and I’ve really missed you! I love seeing all your projects and I absolutely love your long scarf Kirstie! I particularly love to see and hear about your spinning and get ideas for acquisitions! I love your socks too Tracy - in fact I love everything including the cameo appearance of your beautiful dog! Take care and hopefully see you back soon x
Your podcast is always so great. I enjoy your projects so much. I would love to see a podcast about your goals or projects for 2025. Thank you for everything you do for the making community.
Brilliant girls ! I loved everything as usual lol. I’ve not been up to par last few months even to the point of not keeping up with vlogs !! I’m working my way backwards ! You do amaze me with the amount of knitting you both get done. I’m going to have to up my game lol. Take care both xx Lovely to see Bruno at the end !❤
I started watching your podcast around the time Tracy’s dog was poorly. I do enjoy a good knitting podcast and chat. As a lone knitter you are so blessed to have one another. You’re both very talented and pleasant company. Thank you
Another brilliant podcast it does seem ages so lovely to see you back on again x love all your projects you are both so talented x welcome back on lovely ladies xx
Enjoyed your podcast and beautiful projects. Thanks for keeping us entertained! It must be a lot of work for you but want you to know it’s appreciated.
HAPPY NEW YEAR lovely ladies 🎉🎉x x your work is gorgeous 🤩 Bruce made me smile wanting to get in on the act 😃 bless him , glad you're back 😊 so far so good no viruses here 🤧 😊 take care stay safe xx
So good to see you two again! Loved all your projects, but the pink socks have my heart ❤ Loved the spinning too, I also had a fiber advent but I just couldn’t keep up, so I’m saving it for tour de fleece.
I've really enjoyed seeing your knitting and spinning. I'd love to see your plans for the future. My intention for the future is to work with all the costly and/or precious yarns I've been hoarding waiting to find a worthy pattern. So I knit a mouse out of silk, mohair and cashmere! It was lovely using nice yarn.
I love everything you make and it's great that you use affordable yarn like Drops. I love hand dyed but it's not always practical to spend so much money on a project. Your makes look amazing whatever yarn you use.
I have loved your podcasts. You both augment each other and balance is extraordinary. Not achieved that often with podcast duos. Ended up going to your back catalogue and watch ing from beginning. Have been waiting for this podcast.... Kind regards Lynn from Western Australia ( knifton on ravelry) currently knitting multi coloured Primrose fairisle pattern x
Lovely to see you both and I love to see the variety of projects you do between you, such a variety. I always end up adding a couple more patterns to my Ravelry library. I’m doing monthly socks too 😊x
I’m just found your podcast, and I’m so happy I did! I’ll be going back and watch from the first episode, and looking forward to the current next one. 💕
Happy New year! Your octopus has friends , the Claire Gelder books are lovely, easy to crochet or knit. Just as well you two are not on every week, so many ideas!
Morning, happy to see you and all of your makes and ideas. Love your sweater Tracy, while Kirsty was holding it up I’m saying “her hat, that’s the sleeve colour”, have a look, but in saying that, I’m a mustard and green girl so I might be biased lol. Look forward to seeing your 2025 plans!
Simon Cowl 😂 1:27:59 - I was watching this while cooking, looked over and literally thought "what a beautiful beige! It looks *SOOOO* soft too! yep... that is definitely a dogs ear..." 🤦♂
Dear Kirsty and Tracy, so wonderful to see you both. Now the new year can begin. I look forward to see your plans for the year. I’m always so impressed my your creativity. Love your knitting mitts and handspun advent scarf and box of crocheted sweeties, Kirsty. Tracy, your flea stitch socks look so fun and your Simon cowl is inspiring me to make one. Happy New Year to you both. 🕊♥ xo j
Good luck for all your crafting in 2025. I would be interested in a podcast about all your 2025 plans. Can we see the Tunisian crochet again - is it finished? You have such wo derful ideas. ❤
Ah Thank you! I am slowly working my way through my blocks for the tunisian blanket and will show it again on the next episode I think 😁 Hope you are well and that you have a great weekend! 💕
Happy New Year 🥳 Another great podcast as always. I’ve decided to try some knitting again this year, and you are always such an inspiration. I love seeing all your projects
Great to see you both for the first time in 2025. Love your knits and really enjoy the podcast - and so glad your lovely dog made an appearance! Looking forward to your next broadcast. xx
You both are amazing. I love your podcast, especially because you do all the things. I am an avid crocheter from Canada so it is nice to see crochet shown so much. That free-form piece is amazing! A piece of art. Wondering if you have tried Clover hooks instead of an all metal hook? When I switched to Clover, wrist pain disappeared. Can't wait for your next podcast! ❤🇨🇦❤
Happy New Year! It’s always a pleasure to see you both and be inspired by your lovely projects. It’s also fun any time I get to see Bruno and/or Ace. They are the cutest!
Not sure anyone else has said but for the loose first stitch on the column in the Stephen West cowl if you knit the first stitch through the back loop it should fix this. Thanks for another great podcast. Take care.
Happy New Year to u both! Kirsty - I’m so inspired by your handspun scarf! I spent most of last year spinning my wonderful wool advent from 2023 and I’ve been trying to decide what to knit with them…I think I have to try something like this. So much inspiration! Can’t wait to see more of you in 2025!
Happy New Year! Loved this long episode! You two are still my favorites to watch. Kirsty, where did get pattern for the wrist to elbow part of the mitts you showed? It’s a lovely pattern. Tracy I love all your socks and that hat was gorgeous! Looking forward to the next show girls!
Thank you! Happy new year to you too 😁 The wrist part of the mitts started off as a headband, just a small tube. I cast on 64 stitches on 3mm needles. The colourwork was 2 light 2 dark stitches. On each new round I shifted 1 stitch to the left, or right on the other mitt. This gave a diagonal stripe around. I then picked up stitches on the cast on edge with 2.75mm needles and worked 2x2 rib. Doing a stretchy bind off. I hope that made sense. I got the idea for the headband from the doodle knit dictionary book, but I used different numbers and needle sizes, so no pattern.
Hi there. Tracy, when you knit the Flea Socks, did you carry the contrasting yarn up the leg or cut after each row? There's a gap between each colourwork row and im not sure what to do. I'm new at this stuff 🙃 P.s love your podcasts, always look forward to them. xx
I would love to hear your plans and reflections. Kristie can you please share how many stripes you did on your litmus cowl as that’s exactly the fit I’ve been wanting:)
Hi I knit 20 contrast colour stripes, with the main black colour in between. Each of the stripes are 10 rounds. I used 5 20g minis and a main colour, so 4 stripes of each mini. 😁 Happy knitting! 💕
Im convinced. I’m gonna try y’all’s idea of knitting a pair of socks per month, so wish me luck LOL. Kirsty, what size water bottle did you use for your pattern, and if you have the name of and wear you got them, would be appreciated ❤️Maureen
Hi Maureen! I got the hot water bottles from Amazon. They are the 500ml size, I think they were about £4 each! Good luck with your pair of socks a month goal! 😁💕
Great podcast girls, and I love how you use drops yarns a lot in your makes, as a new knitter it can be off putting when bloggers recommend expensive yarns, and you prove that good looking garments can be achieved, thank you.

Hi there. Tracy, when you knit the Flea Socks, did you carry the contrasting yarn up the leg or cut after each row? There's a gap between each colourwork row and im not sure what to do. I'm new at this stuff 🙃 P.s love your podcasts, always look forward to them. xx
Hello, Thank you for your comment, I carried the yarn up the leg on my flea stitch socks 🧦 xx
I would love to hear your plans and reflections. Kristie can you please share how many stripes you did on your litmus cowl as that’s exactly the fit I’ve been wanting:)
