I agree! I love watching what you do! If I get bored, I speed up the video or fast forward. But I rarely get bored! I do love seeing you work systematically. Too many other scrappers I sometimes watch, miss stuff.

The things you opt to leave behind doesn't drive me nuts so much making me wonder what has happened to people over the last 40 or 50 years. It also makes me lament the days gone by when I used to do basically the same thing you are . Keep it up a long as it is feasible.
Sell all your batteries to O'Reilly's Auto Parts. They give like $10 per battery. Check with them and see what yours will take. I know mine takes 5 per day and you get store credit.

Those DHG signs could be repurposed into cool pieces of wall art! I so would use that vinyl, I bet that would give a surprisingly cool effect you know. I buy carpet sample squares for 50p each over here for my Mum, she uses them because she has lots of old rescue animals who make a bit of a mess if you know what I mean 🙈 People often ask me why I use so many ikea bags when collecting scrap, they are so strong and you can squash them away, have you ever considered taking a stong reusable bag up into the dumpsters to easily throw all the bits and bobs in? Even when the buckets add up to little amounts, you are still doing the planet a service so I love it!!
I haven’t tried bags yet. Only totes or buckets . That may be an option to keep in the truck in case I forget the buckets or run out. Thanks for the tip and for watching!
There was one I never go back to because now they chain it off. Another I check on occasion. All others I have either yet to be seen, or security was ok with me there.
They don’t pay to turn them in for my state. Aluminum cans I could turn in at a scrap yard but they are more trouble (and smell) than I want to deal with. We have home recycling, but my bin is already full at each pick up from household recycling.

You use to have dumpsters that had security & got kicked out of, do you still go to those dumpsters?
There was one I never go back to because now they chain it off. Another I check on occasion. All others I have either yet to be seen, or security was ok with me there.
