Tbh all of this unknown content makes me feel like it was going to be used in the game but never got the chance to. i loved this game more than anything but if they never rushed it i wonder what it would have turned out.

However due to time restrictions (as if all those years in development were'nt enough), they had to cut the story short-cut and rip open and completely shovel out a lot of gameplay. like Insomnia, Tenebrae, Niflheim and present Lestallum were supposed to be all playable areas. A lot of the story was cut out too. I heard Luna's role was way bigger.
Isaac Rivera tho I agree? um rushed? lol do you know how long they were working on this? I still love it coz the fighting style weapons chars how cid is in it etc but it should've been so much harder and longer (no pun intended) imo
not that much, from what i remember in 2011 the project ( versus XIII) was abandonned, and it came back alive just around 2015 ( and completly from scratch )
Otaku Gaming Squad They really weren't working on this final version of the game for *that* long. The project was scrapped and things were rewritten so many times that they only spent a couple years on this final version. An employee did an AMA where he talked about how much more content the game was originally supposed to have but they dropped due to time constraints and instead focused on side quests/fetch quests to pad out time. Originally the area where the Shiva corpse is was supposed to be a full area, etc.
It definitely iz sad seeing all this stuff knowing that we never got an interaction with any of it. What was the point of leaving it in the game if it was never to be used? The cut content is very upsetting.
It's common for developers to make unused assets inaccessible rather than outright deleting them from the build. Doing so could cause bugs and break other parts of the game which would then need fixing, spending more than and resources.
Thanks for the upload! How is it known that the statue is of Ardyn? I'm very interested in his backstory. The statue looks more like the FFXV version of Gilgamesh (if you've played Episode Gladiolus.)
Insomnia is not really connected to Lucis via flying in a straight line. It is possible to go from Lucis (Duscae) to Altissia in a straight line by flying. If you want to go from Insomnia to Lucis (or reverse), you would use a Lodge (and Umbra). Chapter 13 has lodges, so if you were able to go to God Mode in Chapter 13, you only need to use any Lodge to get back to Altissia or Lucis
Yes, Buy the Royal edition so you have your updated save files.. with all dlc and items you have... Okay so you gonna need to instal the game twice... get your vanilla dusty ffxv out of your basement delete the game... reinstal the day 1 vanilla version do the glitch at the Ardyn battle..in the end fast travel right before cutscene I had this save file with the glitch.. some patch ruined it so imma have to buy this unfinished amsterpiece twice to get the most content out of it :(
Giovanni, so you are saying to get the original FFXV disc. Delete all version of FFXV. Install original FFXV from disc. Do the God Mode for Ardyn. Make a save (but fast travel right before what cutscene?). Then install Royal edition over the original FFXV. Then load your save to keep god mode in Royal Edition?
Ustradamus Escobar im pretty sure ep ignis will just be what happened to him during the leviathan fight but who knows, they did say it was the one theyre working on the most bc it has to do a lot more w the story but idk
ryan !! Yh I know it's obvious that it'll be set during the leviathan fight but that's too short to make of a dlc due to the short time gap. I dunno the strongholds was just a thought since Ignis was a strategist for Insomnia and he knew how to infiltrate bases and everything. Like everyone is saying now, the dlc could most likely take place during the dark world too after we see him getting blind, since that's the longest time Ignis is spent away from Noctis, which is enough to lengthen his dlc since Prompto and Gladio had already spent several days without Noctis hence allowing space for their DLC.
it seems like they unfinished the game like there coulda been so much more after you go to the swamp area where you fight malboro but they rushed it i guess or got lazy.. like titans rifle like why is that even there? i vbet all those areas coulda been explored if they finished the game properly lol

It's sad the amount of stuff that got cut for time reasons. So much amazing content but not even seen but most the players of this game lol.
God mode is like dumpster-diving for diamonds. So much good stuff that could've been repurposed, or had no reason not to be able to visit/return to.
The points where an invisible wall stops you, you can just fly upwards until you get over it

Lestallum is in Lucis. Use Umbra to travel to Lucis (which will bring you to Hammerhead). Then you simply to go Lestallum any normal way.
